The overall shooting details and insights for this shark girl styling mainly lie in the preparation of costume fabrics and patterns. For high fidelity, the hoodie was made from a blended fabric with a certain drape, ensuring that the wide bell sleeves have a wonderful flow when moving, avoiding a stiff look. The gradient treatment is the key focus; the transition from bright blue to white creates rich layering under natural light. To maintain the three-dimensional feel of the hood's jagged teeth, hard interfacing was added inside to ensure it stands up when worn on the head without sagging. In addition, the small fish fin on the zipper, the red-and-white shark mouth pattern on the front of the garment, and the pocket stitching details were all crafted to achieve maximum accuracy. In terms of makeup, to fit the 2D anime setting, highly pigmented blue circle lenses were worn. For the eye makeup, red eyeshadow was distinctly blended at the outer corners of the eyes to add a hint of intoxicated yet playful charm, and the small dot decorations on the cheeks were indispensable. The manicure was intentionally painted black, decorated with stars and cross patterns; these minor hand details actually score big points in close-up shots. The shooting location was chosen as a home environment featuring a wooden staircase and bookshelves; the warm-toned wooden flooring and ample sunlight on the right just neutralized the cold feel brought by the large area of blue, making the frame look warmer. Regarding pose guidance, apart from the conventional cross-legged sitting posture, a single-leg standing balance pose was also attempted to showcase leg lines nicely; furthermore, a daring high-difficulty composition of lying flat on the floor with legs raised towards the ceiling was tried, paired with those blue shark and brown teddy bear plushies to create a contrasting cuteness. The overhead shooting angle magnifies facial expressiveness wonderfully, making it suitable for displaying the hood styling. Since the lower garment was paired with simple white shorts under the relatively long top, barefoot shooting better matched that casual home ambiance. Throughout the entire shoot, lighting application was crucial, utilizing rim backlighting as much as possible to outline the edge contours of the hair and clothing. The wig was trimmed, and the highlights of the bangs along with the positions of the hair clips on both sides were carefully adjusted to ensure the styling's integrity from any angle before the lens. I am extremely satisfied with this photo set in terms of both composition and light-and-shadow, and the entire shooting process went smoothly. I hope everyone enjoys it.
