During the creation process of cosplay, the texture of the makeup often determines the final direction of the character. Often, everyone sees the exquisite final photos, but as a creator, I am actually more addicted to the accumulation of these details. Today, on the way to the shoot, taking advantage of the great light and shadow, I casually recorded the makeup look of "Didi". To restore that deep and slightly broken gaze, I used a lot of techniques in blending the eyeshadow, especially for the layering of the Red eyes. By overlaying color blocks of different saturation, I tried to create a transparent visual impact in the lens. At the same time, the color and texture of the White hair under natural light are also very critical, which can greatly set off the cool atmosphere of the entire Cosplay makeup. In fact, this kind of candid recording is also an important part of my aesthetic inspiration. Every color selection and every shadow depiction is to accurately restore the soul of the character in front of the lens. For me, the makeup is actually an artistic game about light, shadow, and color, and it is an indispensable soul expression in cosplay.
