When shooting this set of photos, the outdoor sunshine in Hangzhou was better than expected. I was initially worried that the hot weather would degrade my condition, but once at the actual location, seeing that blue sky paired with pure white clouds, along with the wooden boardwalks and colorful amusement facilities, I instantly felt that this shoot would yield many satisfying pictures.

This time, I wore a relatively lightweight sporty outfit. The blue, white, and yellow color-blocked design had very sharp lines, and the details of the collar zipper and hood gave the overall look a lot of vitality. The only challenging part was the wing prop on the back; although it had independent support, moving around still required care to avoid getting hooked or snagged. However, once worn, the overall atmosphere was indeed maxed out, especially when there was a breeze—the feathers would sway naturally with my movements. Paired with the angel halo style effect with planetary rings on top of my head, it filled the shooting process itself with a wonderful sense of immersion.

For the specific pose designs, I didn't intentionally strike particularly rigid postures. Since the amusement facilities at the venue inherently carried a sense of storytelling, I mostly utilized structures like pillars and rope nets to assist with my styling. For example, half-squatting while leaning against the railing, or sitting on a blue wooden board wrapping both hands around a pillar made the captured images appear more natural and vivid. The most satisfying ones were actually the snapshots of looking back with my back turned or standing on a single leg; the looking-back gaze and light physique perfectly captured the translucency that outdoor sunny cosplay photography ought to have under strong light.

The photographer's use of backlighting and strong light was also highly on point. The light hit the hair strands and the edges of the wings, forming a very beautiful rim light layer. Although the shooting process was a real test of physical strength and patience, with my eyes almost unable to open due to the stinging sunlight, seeing the bright-colored previews in the camera one by one made all the hard work feel worth it. In post-processing, we basically only needed to adjust the color tone and lighting ratio, as the foundation of the raw photos was already laid very well.

This is the overall tone of this Part 1 photoset, and I hope to convey this refreshing and bright feeling. The randomness and sense of surprise in a Hangzhou outdoor photoshoot are also what make this set of works most attractive.
