The wind on the rooftop was fierce; the wings on my back felt like they were about to get flipped over at any moment, and I still had to keep a steady, one-handed grip on the longsword. Any slight lapse in core stability would cause the props to pull me backward. The shooting environment for this set was honestly quite a test. The overcast city rooftop naturally carried a cold gray sense of gloom, which formed an intensely striking visual contrast with the pure white ensemble I was wearing.

Let me first talk about the concept behind the styling. To align with the angel theme, I chose a white lace corset mini dress. The ruffles and lace trimming on the skirt added great dimension, while the overall silhouette remained crisp and clean without looking bulky. The headpiece was a delicate white mesh flower that, paired with short hair, preserved a touch of elegance even in the howling wind. Instead of going the traditional sweet route with makeup, I opted for bold red eyeshadow and crimson lips, deliberately introducing a hint of fierce allure and frosty coolness amidst the all-white palette to match the persona of a celestial messenger administering justice.

The props definitely deserve a special mention. While the pair of massive white feathered wings delivered an awe-inspiring visual impact, wearing them was an intense test of physical endurance. The waist belt had to be cinched extremely tight to secure the wing harness, placing substantial weight across my shoulders. Meanwhile, the silver longsword looked breathtaking, but it was far from light; holding it upright for poses with one hand kept my arm muscles under continuous strain. The clear-strap heeled sandals were especially tricky on the rough concrete rooftop—finding balance was tough, and my toes were constantly clenching for grip, particularly when squatting on one leg or perching on the edge of the elevated ledge to extend my legs.

Throughout the shoot, the photographer kept guiding me to fine-tune my angles. The soft, diffuse natural light from the overcast sky produced no harsh direct shadows, making it ideal for highlighting the fine texture of the feathers. We went through various crouching, seated, and standing sword-swinging poses. When crouching, I had to be cautious with the hemline while simultaneously managing the wing span and the straight extension lines of the sword. To evoke that true divine aura, my gaze needed to stay unwavering—either looking down with authority or locking onto the lens with absolute resolve, never appearing casual.

I absolutely adore the overall color tone of this set. The cool blue-gray sky blends seamlessly with the white dress and pristine wings, creating an inherently sacred, serene, and ethereal vibe without requiring heavy post-processing color grading. Although the shoot was physically demanding and left loose feathers scattered across the floor, seeing the resolute yet redeeming aura captured in the final shots made every ounce of effort completely worthwhile.
