[Tomo Ebizuka cosplay] Girls Band Cry BW Stage Photoshoot Diary

The shooting atmosphere at the BW GBC booth was fantastic. The purple-blue neon lights and stage steps added so much depth to our look for Girls Band Cry. Cosplaying Tomo Ebizuka, I went with the short blonde hair and military green jacket look this time. To recreate the character's presence, the wig was styled with a flat iron for textured strands, and the angle of the headphones was adjusted multiple times. During the first set of duo shots, collaborating with Komatsumaru as Rupa felt seamless. Her pink bow tie and black top were striking in front of the lens, while I complemented her by pointing toward the camera to capture that aggressive, high-energy stage presence. The subsequent photos feature our other two friends, Awa Subaru and Kawaragi Momoka. For the second seated duo shoot, we changed into red-and-black striped skirts and brought out the bright blue guitar. To showcase the leg lines and thigh straps, we experimented with around a dozen poses on the steps. As a cosplayer who frequently portrays male or androgynous characters, standing poses come naturally, but holding seated poses really tested my core strength. The photographer's lighting was extremely professional, using flashes to overpower the venue's ambient light so that shadow details were preserved cleanly. The convention was packed, and microphone stands, drum kits, and keyboards took up substantial space, but we were fortunate to catch a moment without crowds to highlight the visual center of the stage. We sweated quite a bit throughout the day and our costumes got slightly wrinkled, but pushing through the heat made the vibrant energy on stage feel even more authentic. Everyone put genuine effort into the small details to bring out the live-band feel, such as the pink ribbons, red-and-black plaid skirts, and leg straps. It turned out to be one of the most vivid, cherished memories from this year's BW.
