We've finally wrapped the shoot for Juri Han's Street Fighter 6 pajama costume. I chose this outfit specifically for that fierce sense of contrast: in the game, Juri is consistently aggressive with her lethal kicks, but slipping into this purple fleece onesie merges her perilous aura with an effortless, languid ease. The fabric is soft fleece—incredibly plush to the touch, yet noticeably thick to wear. To project that sensual, laid-back mood, I drew the front zipper down toward the chest, revealing the delicate black spaghetti-strap camisole underneath. This collision of contrasting colors and textures elevated visual dimension while highlighting her untamed persona. The bright yellow drawstring is another hallmark detail from the canonical design, popping boldly against the purple environment, so I deliberately pulled it taut in certain frames to introduce sharp, linear motion.
Recreating the hair and makeup took meticulous care as well. The wig features long straight black hair with magenta highlights woven through the bangs and sidelocks, catching the studio lighting with rich vibrancy. The black feather crests on either side of the hood were anchored using hidden hairpins; given their exaggerated proportions, fine-tuning their angle and fullness took considerable patience so they looked seamlessly integrated on camera. For makeup, to honor her cool, haughty glamour, the eye contour was drawn with depth and paired with pale contact lenses, accentuating a sharp, elongated wing at the outer corners. Topped off with bold crimson lip lacquer, the overall face carried a fierce, aggressive edge that was gently balanced by the warm, fluffy fleece.
During posing, the photographer guided me to emphasize varying bodily contours. The first sequence had me reclining across a white round plinth—a posture that proved quite demanding on core balance. Propping myself up with one arm while resting the other hand against my forehead, my gaze maintained an aloof, condescending disdain, evoking a fighter who just woke up and is casually ready for combat. The half-zipped closure framed the chest and collarbones cleanly, serving as a primary focal highlight of this set. The second composition was a forward-leaning standing stance, reaching out directly toward the lens. The perspective was intensely dramatic; to nail the moment, the photographer had me tweak my shoulder angles and tuck my chin repeatedly, accentuating the bustline while locking my gaze onto the camera. Gripping the yellow drawstring in my hand added kinetic energy to the frame, as if about to reel an opponent in at any second.
The studio utilized a monochrome violet backdrop throughout, echoing the color family of the onesie to craft an ethereal, subtly hypnotic atmosphere. Lighting relied on soft overhead and rim side sources, primarily sculpted to trace the fuzzy nap of the fleece and garment folds while preserving crisp facial definition and translucent skin tones. I am personally thrilled with how this entire photo series turned out—it weaves the character's signature traits and the intended mood together organically, offering a fresh visual interpretation of Juri.
