This set of QQ Speed Xiao Ju Zi's racing suit has finally been successfully shot in the white studio. As an iconic character in classic racing games, Xiao Ju Zi's bright yellow racing suit is truly eye-catching. To ensure the texture of this high-reflectivity PU leather material, a lot of thought went into the lighting setup of the white studio this time. You might think the reflective surface looks very smooth when looking at the photos, but during actual shooting, messy highlight spots easily appear. It required constant adjustment of the main light's angle and dimming the ambient light to make the yellow-and-black contrast of the clothes look clean and crisp without that cheap plastic feel.

Let's talk about the wig first. This orange-red long straight hair looks extremely fierce and cool, but to capture that sense of speed and fluidity, I really suffered a lot. Without a fan blowing directly, we had to simulate that lightning-fast effect. To present the most natural state this time, I was shaking my head wildly while the photographer frantically pressed the shutter to capture candid shots. The discard rate of photos was extremely high, but the hair curves in the selected few photos are truly peerless. The wig's roots and bangs were also meticulously styled to ensure they wouldn't cling to the scalp, and even with the cap pressing down, the stray locks on both sides still nicely flattered the face shape.

Details on the costume also withstand scrutiny; the checkerboard pattern on this cropped jacket is very classic, paired with a black glossy short skirt, which wonderfully elongates body proportions. In terms of gloves, the black half-finger leather gloves added a hardcore motorcycle vibe while also nicely refining the hand lines when posing. The shoes chosen were a pair of off-white platform mid-calf boots, which can both increase height and echo the high-saturation yellow of the upper body in color. Actually, after putting on this outfit, it makes a person look extremely upright because the waist-cinching design combined with the short skirt cut places all visual focus on the legs and waistline. To make the details even more perfect, I carefully checked the stitching and zipper positions at the edges of the clothes before the shoot to ensure no wrinkles ruined the overall feel of the frame.

The pose design during the shoot also referenced postures of racing flag marshals and e-sports characters, such as holding the brim of the cap, one hand on the hip, and a semi-crouched starting stance. This clothing style is actually very suitable for big movements; just standing would look rigid. The benefit of a white studio is that attention can be completely focused on the character and the colors of the costume without distracting background interference. However, a pure white background has extremely high demands for the character's rim light; with even slightly less light, the black-and-yellow contrasting edges would blend into the background, so we kept adjusting the angles of the hair light and rim/backlight to ensure Xiao Ju Zi's three-dimensional feel.

In terms of makeup, to match the character's 2D anime attributes, the eye makeup was deepened slightly, emphasizing the hair-like texture of the eyelashes, and the lipstick was chosen in an energetic shade, fitting the character's youthful vitality without looking too juvenile. To capture that cool yet sweet feeling, gaze control was also very important—not too fierce, but possessing that confident drive. In front of the lens, as soon as I thought of Xiao Ju Zi's energetic setting, the state naturally came. Looking back at the final photos now, it feels like all the sweat wasn't shed in vain. Although various poses caused soreness in my back and waist, the resulting light and shadow effects, clothing texture, and overall character tension all reached the expected results. From controlling the reflectivity of the clothing material to capturing movement details and coordinating the white studio lighting, every link was meant to present the most perfect frame.
