サークル勧誘会の2日目、私は体力的にも精神的にも二重の過酷な試練に直面しました。

My period started early in the morning, and when I couldn't bear the pain anymore, I took a painkiller. But then something even more triggering happened—I turned out to be allergic to painkillers, and my lips swelled up like a pair of sausages! With stomach cramps on one hand and numb, swollen lips on the other, I had only one thought: if I don't finish this Kafka cosplay today, all the makeup I woke up early to do would be totally wasted. Skipping meals hurt my stomach, but taking painkillers swelled my lips—a complete dilemma.
But since I was already there, I decided to push through. To accurately recreate the character's details, I used seven different makeup brushes alone, handling everything from gradient eyeshadow layering to creating a dewy lip finish, while layering foundation and concealer multiple times. Brushing back and forth across my face in the hot weather with nervous energy felt like sparks were practically flying. Luckily, pairing it with the red wig and her signature black round sunglasses helped shadow and reshape my swollen facial structure quite a bit!
As for props, that huge purplish-red long sword was genuinely heavy. Shouldering it for photos while trying to strike cool yet natural angles left my left shoulder aching. Her outfit—a black coat with white grid lines and a large white bow—demands great body proportions and can easily look bulky if not careful, but once I put on the gloves and wrist guards, the overall visual gave off the sharp, slick vibe I was aiming for.
The hardest part was actually photo editing. Due to the swelling, my mouth corners and jawline looked odd in raw photos. So I had to work overtime during post-processing, painstakingly liquifying and reshaping my lip contour bit by bit, as well as adjusting facial lighting transitions to minimize the allergic puffiness as much as possible. You could say a solid third of the effort for these final photos went into touch-ups and editing!
Though the process was intense and messy, the random dance session was so much fun! I even cracked a meme joke on stage—saying "Having a mom like this spinning at high speed into the Tsinghua University Club Fair"—and the crowd hype was insane! I let go completely during the dance and felt zero pressure taking photos, fully enjoying the pure vibe of gathering with fellow fans. Dancing and laughing with everyone blew away all my physical discomfort.
Joining the Tsinghua University Club Fair and cosplaying alongside friends from the Tsinghua University Next-Gen Anime Club was truly a special experience. Despite my body letting me down that day, being able to suit up, walk through the campus, take group photos, and join the random dance made it incredibly fulfilling. I'm not really sure how to apologize for such chaotic hiccups, but sorry anyway—after all, every cosplay trip is an adventurous jump into the unknown!

朝一番で生理が始まってしまい、あまりの痛みに耐えかねて痛み止めを飲んだのですが、さらに絶望的なことが起きました——なんと痛み止めアレルギーで、唇がパンパンの「ソーセージ唇」に腫れ上がってしまったのです。お腹は痛いし、唇は痺れて腫れているしで、「今日のカフカのコスプレを完成させなければ、早起きして頑張ったメイクが全部無駄になってしまう」という思いだけが頭をよぎっていました。ご飯を食べなければお腹が痛く、薬を飲めば唇が腫れるという、まさに進退両難の状態でした。
それでも「ここまできたならやるしかない」と腹をくくりました。キャラの細部を再現するために、メイクブラシだけでも7本を使用。アイシャドウのグラデーションから唇のウルっとした質感までこだわり、ファンデーションとコンシーラーも何度も重ねました。汗ばむ暑さと緊張の中、刷毛を何度も往復させている時は、まさに顔から火花が出そうな気分でした。でも幸いなことに、赤いウィッグとトレードマークの黒い丸サングラスを合わせることで、腫れで違和感のあった顔のラインがウィッグの陰とメイクの補正でかなりカバーされました。
小道具に関して言うと、あの巨大な紫紅色の長剣が本当に重くて、肩に担いでカッコよく自然な角度をキープしながら撮影しているうちに、左肩の筋肉がじわじわと痛んできました。白のグリッドラインが入った黒いジャケットと大きな白いリボンは、体のプロポーションがかなり問われる衣装で、油断すると着ぶくれして見えてしまうのですが、手袋とリストガードを着用することで、全体的に期待通りのシャープでクールな視覚効果を出すことができました。
一番大変だったのは、実は撮影後の写真のレタッチ作業でした。唇が腫れていたため、撮って出しの写真では口元やフェイスラインが少し不自然になってしまっていたのです。そのため、レタッチ段階で画面と向き合って奮闘し、少しずつ液化ツールで唇の輪郭を整え、顔の明暗のグラデーションを調整して、アレルギーによる腫れ感をできる限り消し去りました。今回の完成写真の心血の3分の1は、このレタッチの修正作業に注がれたと言っても過言ではありません。
過程は壮絶でしたが、ランダムダンスの時間は本当に楽しすぎました！当日は「こんなママが高速回転しながら清華サークル勧誘会に突入！」といったネタも披露し、会場の熱気は最高潮に達しました。ダンス中は動きを大きく伸ばして楽しみ、ポーズを決めて写真を撮る時も全く気取らず、仲間たちと集う純粋な雰囲気を心から満喫しました。みんなと一緒に踊って騒ぐ楽しさが、身体の不調をすべて吹き飛ばしてくれました。
清華大学サークル勧誘会に参加し、清華大学次世代アニメサークルの皆と一緒にコスプレができたのは、本当に特別な体験でした。当日は体調が悪く苦労もしましたが、この衣装を身にまとってキャンパスを歩き回り、みんなで記念写真を撮ったりランダムダンスで遊んだりできて、心から大満足でした。こうしたハプニングについてどうお詫びすればいいのか分かりませんが、とりあえずお詫びしておきます。何しろ、毎回コスプレをすることは未知に満ちた大冒険のようなものですから。
