When I chose the character "Xiao Huiyi," I was thinking about how to balance her sense of brokenness with her purity. To restore this character from Identity V, I did a lot of detailed polishing on the makeup and styling, especially the lace texture and pleated layers of the dress, striving for the direction of every line to match the character's dreamlike tone. During the shooting process, I paid special attention to the distribution of light and shadow, using delicate tones to create an emotion that wanders between reality and illusion. That iconic doll also occupies an important position in the lens, serving as an extension of the character's emotions. As a coser who pursues accuracy, I really enjoy the process of polishing the visual presentation from the character's inner logic. From fine-tuning the makeup to the dynamic effects of the costume, I am trying to convey that sense of depression and blur where "memories have become a major problem." Every finished photo records this accumulation of emotion, which is also my motivation for persisting in cosplay, hoping to give everyone the most authentic character experience.
