Looking for a Guangzhou cosplay photoshoot partner! I'm based in Guangzhou, primarily active around the city center, Haizhu, and Panyu areas. Regarding height, it's a hardware factor that needs to be clarified in advance. When cosplaying the left position (seme/top) with elevator insoles, I reach up to 176 cm; for the right position (uke/bottom), I can wear fewer insoles to adjust proportions completely according to my partner's needs. My 20 cm platform shoes are currently on the way, and once equipped, my frame proportions will be much sturdier. I hope to find a suitable long-term partner.
As for the IPs I'd love to build, the list is quite extensive—mainly Xiao Lv and Xiao Lan, Si Huai, Mi You, P Bai, Xiao Xie/Ta & Xiao Bai/Liu, Si Wan, Quan Gao 154, and 922. I can personally play both left and right roles for all of these, switching styles depending on character settings and atmosphere. Additionally, I want to work on Ya She, DOLO Destiny Capsule, Cheng Ye Xiao He, The Legend of Hei, and the Lan Xi Zhen comic. I read plenty of BG, BL, and GL novels, but I prefer focusing my main energy on the latter two for shoots, as character chemistry and emotional bonds are much easier to express visually.
Guangzhou actually boasts rich photography resources. Whether it's modern architectural districts like Pazhou Comic-Con and Tianhe Smart City, or retro old-town scenes like Dongshankou and Shamian, they are all great for outdoor shoots across different IPs. Personally, I care deeply about post-processing texture and ambient light coordination in a Final photoshoot, especially for dark night-scene styles paired with reflective clothing and detailed props, which immediately maximize visual tension. For instance, materials like silver reflective pants easily overexpose under direct lighting, so I prefer using softboxes with reflectors or leveraging directional streetlights to highlight lines and dimensions.
Regarding makeup and styling, I have high standards for detail: wigs must be smooth without frizz, bangs shouldn't block facial expression output from the eyes, and makeup needs strong three-dimensional definition. I also handle basic post-editing and color grading, such as removing wig glare points and tuning ambient tones to fit the original work's mood. If working with a steady partner, I hope they have a basic understanding of character lore and can prepare thematic props in advance—like long-handled umbrellas, bouquets, or paper documents with real-world contrast—all of which enhance the narrative feel of the frame.
Personally, I lean slightly toward playing the right position, having my own understanding of eye focus and posture relaxation. But if my partner wants to play the right position, I can naturally switch to the left position, adjusting my posture and aura according to the character's personality. Finding a good Cosplay partner for Guangzhou cosplay can be tough since schedules rarely align; I prefer forming a small team of 1 or 2 people for shoots, ensuring higher efficiency and interaction quality. I've saved many photography-friendly locations on my phone, including hidden alleys, newly developed commercial areas, and geometric pedestrian bridges—perfect for silhouettes and side-profile close-ups.
If my partner is open to mutual coordination, we can list out desired IPs and plan a schedule based on costume preparation cycles and makeup difficulty, aiming for 1–2 outdoor shoots per week with plenty of idea exchanges and photo returns. Rather than rushing through 4–5 outfits in a day, the goal is for every single set to reach portfolio standards. That's the original motivation behind spending time perfecting makeup, costumes, and locations.
