今回のIDOイベント写真の現像が終わったので、お気に入りのカットをいくつかお届けします。
衣装はチャイナドレスを現代風にアレンジしたデザインで、白をベースに胸元のスリットやシースルーチュール、繊細なレースをふんだんにあしらっています。足元には白のレースサイハイ白ストッキングと華奢なピンヒールを合わせ、全身を洗練されたホワイトトーンで統一しました。白いレースの日傘は重要な小道具で、会場の幾何学的な天井やグレーのフロアの中で純白の質感を綺麗に引き立ててくれました。
ヘアメイク面では、トレードマークであるピンクのロングヘアに青紫色のカラコンをセレクト。太ももにあしらわれた淡いブルーの模様や手首の青緑色のブレスレットなど、原作設定の細部まで忠実に再現しました。胸元の細いチェーンやピンクのチャームも自分でこだわりを持って仕上げたディテールです。
当日は来場者も多く館内も熱気に包まれていました。特に2枚目のような片足を高く上げる立ちポーズは、体幹でバランスを取りつつスカートのドレープを綺麗な角度に見せるため何度もやり直す必要があり、撮影全体を通してかなりの体力を消耗しました。展示場のトップ光は額や肩に強いテカリを生じさせやすいため難敵でしたが、丁寧なレタッチでハイライトを的確に抑え、肌本来の柔らかく透明感のある質感を綺麗に引き出してくれました。
ボリュームのある裾が床に触れたり風で煽られたりすることもありましたが、人の波が途切れる一瞬を狙って撮影を進行。無機質でソリッドな会場の工業的な背景が、かえってキャラクターの儚げで可憐な雰囲気を際立たせてくれました。

This outfit is a modified Qipao style, dominated by pure white. It features cut-out details and sheer mesh on the chest, along with intricate lace patchwork. Paired with white lace stockings and stilettos, it stays true to the pure-white aesthetic. The white lace parasol was an essential prop; against the convention center's geometric ceiling and gray flooring, the white textures really popped.
As for the makeup and styling details, long pink hair is the character's signature, complemented by blue-purple colored contacts for the eye makeup. The light blue graffiti markings on the leg and the cyan bracelet on the wrist are canonical character details, which were meticulously recreated for maximum accuracy. I also took the time to carefully add the delicate chain and the small pink charm on the chest.
It was crowded and quite warm on the shoot day. Especially for the pose in photo 2—standing balanced on one leg—it took multiple adjustments to maintain balance while getting the skirt drape at just the right angle, which was quite exhausting. The overhead lighting at the convention center is notoriously tricky to manage, casting harsh reflections on the forehead and shoulders. Fortunately, the photographer did an amazing job in post-processing to subdue the highlights and restore a soft, natural skin texture.
The shoot itself was a lot of fun. Because the long train is quite voluminous, it kept sweeping the floor or blowing around in the draft. We tried our best to snap shots during brief lulls in the crowd; the cold, industrial backdrop of the venue actually created a striking contrast that highlighted the character's delicate grace. It was tiring, but seeing the final results made it all worthwhile.
In terms of shooting technique, the photographer shot mostly from a low, crouching angle to elongate the leg lines. A wide aperture was used to achieve a clean bokeh background that made the subject stand out. Combined with the cool-toned ambient venue lighting, this made the white and pink elements of the costume look exceptionally clean and luminous.
The outfit is fairly form-fitting, and the chest cut-out required careful attention during the shoot to prevent wardrobe malfunctions, so I had to be mindful of my movements whenever lifting the skirt or posing.
