[Futaba Yoshioka cosplay] Blue Spring Ride in a summer parking lot

Today's Futaba Yoshioka styling focuses on capturing that seemingly ordinary yet subtly heart-throbbing aura of youth. For the wig, I chose short, straight brown hair with a natural luster, trimming the blunt bangs and loose strands on both sides to flatter face shapes while maintaining a natural, just-after-school slight frizziness. The makeup was kept minimalist; the base is clean and translucent without heavy eyeshadow, only deepening the eye contours to match Futaba's quiet yet somewhat stubborn gaze.

In terms of clothing, the black blazer has a relatively crisp cut, naturally supporting the shoulder lines when worn. The white inner shirt collar is neatly arranged, paired with a red, white, and blue striped tie, which is probably the most eye-catching accent of this uniform. The lower body is a grey pleated skirt, matched with black thigh-highs and platform buckled leather shoes. Wearing these outdoors in the summer is quite hot, but to capture this school youth vibe, I had to persist under the sun. To keep the black thigh-highs smooth, I adjusted their top cuffs several times between shoots. Since the leather shoes were newly unboxed, they rubbed against my feet a bit, but for the overall effect, I persevered and wore them throughout the entire process.

The scene was chosen near an outdoor parking lot, featuring yellow-and-black striped warning pillars and roadblocks, with some green trees and vehicles in the background. The blue tote school bag is a very prominent prop this time, carried in almost every photo to make it look more student-like. The sunlight was very strong and slightly blinding during the shoot, so I utilized the shadows of the pillars or used the bag to block part of the light. While searching for angles, the photographer also deliberately used a wide aperture to blur the background, making the character stand out more in the frame.

Many actions were actually improvised. For example, tucking one side of the hair behind the ear, leaning sideways against a warning pillar looking down at the ground, or turning half around to look back at the lens. The posture of holding the school bag was also adjusted several times to make it drape naturally. Shooting cosplay is actually like this: not only must the clothing be accurate, but you must also fit the character through subtle body language. The state of walking on a playground or street is what best reflects a character's personality. What this set of photos aims to express is that pure, innocent emotion in the summer without too many complicated thoughts. Since the weather was really hot, touch-ups and wig styling took up a large portion of time, but seeing the light, shadow, and bodily posture in the final photos made all these hardships feel worth it. Under the photographer's guidance, I tried many perspective shifts, allowing this set of photos to feature both full-body uniform displays and half-body close-ups leaning against railings, recording images under different emotions. This is probably the driving power of loving to restore characters.
