This shoot directly challenged Zhaomu Mountain, Chongqing. Although the terrain was quite tiring for the legs, seeing the final photos made all the hard work completely worth it. There was actually no sunlight on the day of the shoot, so we relied entirely on post-processing to manually create the light, shadow, and atmosphere. Fortunately, the color tone of the garden was deep and serene enough, which instead added a touch of martial arts flair to the character.

This time, I recreated the Hunt path form of March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail. The cat-ear hair accessories on the pink hair, the primarily black costume with red and white accents, plus the twin long swords, are perfect for this traditional Chinese garden full of green vegetation. The green duckweed on the water surface and the stone steps have a very classical poetic vibe.

In terms of physical movements, I specially designed several different poses. Standing on one leg for balance while holding a sword, or sitting on a rock to coordinate with the extension of the long sword—I hoped to present the state of March 7th's Hunt form that is both lightweight and inherently cool. The shooting process was also very challenging; not only did I have to control my center of gravity, but I also had to ensure that the lines of the prop swords in hand were smooth in front of the lens without blocking my face.

During post-editing, I intentionally processed the texture of the stone steps and the saturation of the green water to make the frame look full of life without letting the colors become too overpowering, preserving the translucency of the depth of field. This set of work is an attempt that I am quite satisfied with. Presenting a character in an outdoor environment makes the texture of the costume and the fusion with the scene exceptionally important. I hope everyone can feel the dedicated creative details in this March 7th cosplay when you come across it. This session was a great addition to my Cosplay photography journey.
