[Summer Artoria cosplay] FGO Swimsuit Artoria Pendragon and Heavy Motorcycle Midnight Studio - Image 1

Getting the edited photos at midnight truly gives a sense of excitement like unboxing a blind box. This time, the shoot was located under an open waterside night view. The lighting conditions were actually quite challenging, but fortunately, the post-processing pushed the atmospheric vibe to the max.

When mounting this Kawasaki heavy motorcycle, my first reaction was that the seat height is truly not low. The posture for straddling it was more exhausting than imagined, but to fit the character's cool and valiant temperament, I braced myself to strike a relaxed pose. The prop gun in my hand is custom-made, with its weight and texture restoring the details in the game illustrations as much as possible. When holding it for photos, the finger strength had to be well-controlled, otherwise it would easily look stiff.

The state of the wig fluttering in the wind was picked after many snapshots. The wind on site was actually very strong, and the bangs kept blowing into my face. The photographer had to help block the wind while focusing, for which I'm really grateful. The ruffles and asymmetrical tailoring of the costume would shift a bit under the riding posture, requiring constant adjustments during breaks, which is a routine operation for motorcycle-oriented Cosplay photography. Noise is the biggest fear in night photography, but this time the high ISO and fill light worked well together; the reflection of the metallic bike frame and the texture of the black socks were preserved very clearly.

As an old Fate/Grand Order player, being able to interpret Summer Artoria cosplay in my own way and present the Servant's dangerous yet somewhat lazy sense of oppression was a highly satisfying attempt. Thank you for the hard work editing the photos late at night; this final product is worth all the waiting of a true Swimsuit Artoria Pendragon fan.
