I finally wrapped up this delayed Tanabata cosplay shoot featuring New Jersey's qipao skin from Azur Lane. The ensemble centers on a deep navy modified qipao, designed with a traditional high mandarin collar offset by generous open-shoulder and backless cutouts. Sheer black lace inserts around the bust and waist are enriched with opulent gold embroidery to break the dark palette, while high side slits accentuate leg contours over jacquard textures that shimmer under light.

Styling the blue wig required looping two long locks inward to recreate her iconic bunny-ear silhouette, crowned with a gold tiara and hairpin. Vivid blue contact lenses, warm reddish eye shadow to counter the chilly tones, and bold crimson lips added polish. The look is accessorized with sheer black lace opera gloves, Black stockings, gold-strapped stiletto heels, and a translucent black bird-and-flower folding fan.

Staged inside a studio featuring timber screens, moss-covered flagstones, hanging cherry blossoms, and lanterns, warm amber lights juxtaposed against the cool blue wig and dress. Maintaining a taut posture across sitting and standing poses on wooden steps allowed the high slits, arched fan, and elegant curves to fall into place naturally, making this Azur Lane Tanabata cosplay project thoroughly rewarding.
