[At the BilibiliWorld Azur Lane Booth] Hardcore Surrounded by Countless Lenses

The convention venue was indeed extremely crowded, especially at a popular booth like Azur Lane. I can only say everyone's enthusiasm was sky-high—the photographers who managed to squeeze to the front and claim prime spots possessed astonishing stamina and arm strength, truly showing me what real "elbowing" skills look like.

Today's outfit was themed primarily around black and white tones, paired with voluminous plush accents and high boots. Since the booth background props were quite tall, combined with giant hanging softboxes, the lighting conditions on site were actually top-tier, giving me an even better space to express myself.

But honestly, maintaining facial expressions and posture under dense flashes is a double test of mindset and muscular endurance. Between shots, taking moments to adjust breathing and keeping the torso elongated was necessary; otherwise, exhaustion would easily show up in photos.

The booth's light-blue geometric installation prop had a strong sense of design; the cool illumination from LED strips casting onto the white floor created wonderful light-and-shadow effects. However, being surrounded by audiences and lenses like a besieged fortress, with lenses of various focal lengths and gear filling the view above, required temporarily tuning out surrounding noise to immerse into the character.

BilibiliWorld's offline interactive experience was well-executed this year, though the sheer crowd density made competition among photographers for shooting spots fierce. If peak crowd hours could be avoided, or if booths provided more reasonable shooting distances, the atmosphere would feel much more comfortable.

Shooting from morning until afternoon had me sweating a bit, but hearing shutter clicks and calls like "Look over here!" motivated me to cooperate as best as I could. Overall, being able to shoot at an official booth recognized and loved by everyone is in itself a very special Coser daily life experience.

Due to space constraints at the booth, reflected light varied subtly across areas, requiring careful attention to light-and-dark gradients on the clothing feathers. When so many lenses converged simultaneously, keeping expressions natural while preserving the character's signature cool detachment or focus amid intense eye contact was key. Deep breaths and anchoring my center of gravity in my core formed the foundation for sustaining long photoshoots.

Looking back at it all, today's hair and makeup were styled rather understatedly to complement the ensemble—foregoing overly flashy elements to focus on clean lines and white accents, with the tall boots echoing the costume visuals nicely.

What was gratifying was the great on-site atmosphere. Although photographers holding cameras were crowded together, everyone was striving to capture the coolest, most gorgeous angles of the character. As a cosplayer, presenting at such a popular booth comes with the mental readiness for heavy stamina drain.

The prop placement and structural framing were richly layered, especially the massive ice-blue radial tail structure that looked brilliantly translucent under high booth lights. Faced with so many photographers, however, I subconsciously controlled my range of motion to avoid bumping into props while allowing everyone to find good angles.

Returning to the booth itself, the design construct perfectly fit the IP's cool-toned aesthetic. Combined with light strips along the booth edges, visual depth and contrast were exceptional. The on-site staff worked hard to maintain order so everyone could take turns shooting, which was highly commendable.

Regarding the "elbowing" people talked about, it was more a figure of speech describing the intense shooting fervour. If front-row positions could be reserved in advance, or if time-slot-based shooting models were adopted, the convention photography experience would improve drastically.

All in all, completing this Azur Lane cosplay photoshoot under such an enthusiastic environment was an unforgettable experience for both cosplayer and photographers alike. Finishing this set left me feeling immensely fulfilled today, capturing this moment.
