When preparing this anthropomorphic cosplay look for Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony, I spent a long time repeatedly adjusting just the combination of the wig and the goggles. To recreate that gorgeous rainbow color scheme, I specifically chose this high-saturation layered dye hair color and pressed transparent orange goggles onto the top of my head, instantly capturing the spirit of this character. Considering the character's own sporty attributes, I chose a texture closer to athletic fabric for the top and arm sleeves. The echo between the rainbow-striped camisole and the rainbow arm sleeves maximizes the character's recognition.

For the bottoms, I ditched conventional tight pants or regular shorts and chose these denim trousers with unique knotted straps. It features the casual spontaneity of a skater youth, while the irregular low-rise and leg-baring design keeps the overall look exceptionally sharp and tidy. The shoes were paired with white-and-blue thick-soled sneakers, which echo the colors of the denim element and nicely ground the bright rainbow colors on the upper body, preventing the visuals from becoming overly flashy.

As for the setting, this shoot was mainly filmed in an industrial style outdoor pedestrian bridge and fenced area. The cool gray concrete ground and white metal mesh fencing create a clean, slightly street-vibe cool-toned base. This kind of neutral background is actually a real test for the integration of colorful elements, as a slight misstep can easily look cluttered. Fortunately, the natural light that day was exceptionally soft, providing very even diffuse reflection for the entire set of photos, with no dead blacks or overexposure, keeping the skin texture very delicate.

Regarding props and interaction, that raw-wood-toned skateboard with a yellow bottom is the finishing touch. Many times, relying solely on body poses can easily look stiff, but a skateboard serves both as a support point and as a source of dynamic energy in the frame. Whether standing on the board, dotting the ground with one foot, or bending my knees to sit next to the skateboard, it enriches the body language so the entire set of photos isn't confined to a simple standing-and-posing routine.

In terms of lens work, the photographer was excellent at using wide angles and low angles to break away from ordinary perspectives. For example, that low-angle shot of stepping on the skateboard not only elongated my body proportions beautifully but also added more tension to the frame. Meanwhile, the shot of removing the goggles while squatting captured a side beyond the character's hardcore exterior. The eye makeup intentionally emphasized the upward curve of the eyeliner, looking confident and spirited. To be as breezy and uninhibited as Rainbow Dash, expression management needs to be more relaxed than in daily portraits; I didn't make too many deliberately pleasing expressions, trying instead to showcase a comfortable and natural attitude.

The entire shoot felt very aligned with the character's personality charm. The costume design retains a powerful visual impact while preserving practical room for movement, allowing me to perform various large-amplitude actions without worrying about exposure or deforming the outfit. I am also very satisfied with the final texture presented in the photos. This creative experience has given me a deeper understanding of this character.
