The preparation window for this Zenless Zone Zero Sunna nocturnal photoshoot was actually quite tight. Once we settled on shooting the night scenes across the downtown historic quarter, refining the hair, makeup, and wardrobe nuances became our top priority. For the wig, I specifically chose a fluffy, voluminous mint-green twin-tail style, carefully texturing the fringe. The headdress retained the in-game black hair clip accents along with the pair of pale-blue horn accessories flanking the crown. In keeping with the character's signature look, the makeup incorporated vibrant bright-blue contact lenses paired with pinkish eyeshadow and blush, finished with a saturated berry lip. Wardrobe-wise, the crisp white shirt was detailed with ruffled cuffs, accented at the collar by a red star necktie, and layered with pink-and-white striped knit arm warmers. The lower half coordinated a black multi-tiered puff tutu skirt with over-the-knee white stockings and matching pink-and-white striped knit leg warmers; once the black and pink leather garter straps were cinched snugly around the thighs and paired with chunky platform dad sneakers, the overall color palette popped with striking vibrancy in the dark. A pink polka-dot backpack, miniature white angel wings on the back, and the handheld pink megaphone and magic wand props firmly anchored Sunna's mischievous, unapologetically playful persona.

Upon arriving at the shoot location, glowing neon signs and street traffic indicators formed an impeccable natural backdrop. To channel both the gritty coolness of the urban night and the character's boundless vitality, the photographer encouraged me to experiment with more animated, expressive body language. We began with dynamic motion-capture shots across a pedestrian crosswalk: I stepped forward briskly while clutching the megaphone, framed from a low-angle upward perspective that leveraged focal perspective distortion to elongate the leg lines while lending sweeping depth to the background cityscape. We then transitioned toward green guardrails, where I tried sitting atop the rail and resting my rear foot against the barriers. This posture demanded solid core engagement to balance steadily without breaking facial expression, while ensuring the leg lines stretched naturally to showcase the tactile layering of the white stockings and striped leg warmers. The grip on the megaphone and the subtle upward tilt of my chin were adjusted multiple times so the strobe's specular highlights landed squarely across my cheeks and legs. The vibrant clash between hot pink, fluorescent cyan props, and black textiles stood out with dramatic contrast against the warm glow of commercial storefronts.

Judging from the final retouched shots, nocturnal photography ultimately hinges on mastering light. The main subject was illuminated by powerful strobes calibrated to a cooler color temperature, whereas the ambient background preserved rich, warm splashes of red, yellow, and blue; this cold-and-warm chiaroscuro contrast aligned flawlessly with the trendy, high-street aesthetic. In dynamic motion captures, the flutter of hair strands and the flare of the skirt hem injected tremendous kinetic tension into the frame. Although dashing around the streets was physically exhausting, seeing the prop details, garment layering, and environmental lighting harmonize so impeccably made every bit of effort feel thoroughly rewarded.
