Columbina was my very first character of 2026, and preparations started weeks in advance. When I received this red-and-black gradient wig, I spent a lot of time styling the bangs and ends, applying plenty of styling spray to achieve that light, floating look. The purple contacts caught the strong light wonderfully, and paired with rosy blush and glossy lipstick, they matched the texture of her face makeup perfectly. I adjusted the subtle angle of the pupils multiple times, as the expression conveyed by the eyes varies under different lighting.
The costume design is remarkably detailed; the white sections use stiffer fabrics, creating a sharp contrast with the blue crescent moon ornament and gold buckles on the chest. The white hollow choker around the neck was tricky to put on at first; to ensure it wouldn't lose its shape when looking down, I padded the inner lining with soft silicone. The wing hair ornaments were quite heavy, requiring the right anchor points so the overall proportions wouldn't tilt while in the car or walking around later. I also readjusted the neckline straps to ensure breathability without revealing the thermal layer worn underneath.
Attending Genshin Impact Fes today was a truly special experience. The outdoor temperature was freezing, yet the queue and the venue atmosphere were buzzing with excitement. Transitioning between hot and cold was a challenge for keeping in character, especially during outdoor shooting. Returning indoors, in order to capture the Damselette cosplay's mysterious and somewhat aloof demeanor, I deliberately minimized large movements in front of the camera, maintaining a quiet poise. The natural light inside the car hit my face just right, making the skin appear translucent, though the cold wind dried my skin out a bit, requiring a couple of moisturizer touch-ups between takes. The blue and gold crescent badge on my chest was hand-painted layer by layer, perfectly fitting the original art style. Walking around the anime convention cosplay floor, hearing players recognize the character and call out her name significantly offset the biting cold.
This project for the Genshin Impact Creator Incentive Program is now officially released. As for wearing revealing cosplay outfits in winter, my advice is to wear nude thermal underwear to survive outdoors. The wig's sheen stood out brilliantly against backlighting, and the red highlights showed richer layers from the side. Choosing to shoot inside the car was mainly because the backlighting softened any synthetic texture on the fabric, giving the white reflections a gentler look. Walking through the Fes required extra care not to step on the hem due to the wide skirt base, keeping my steps restrained. この衣装は細部まで非常にこだわり抜かれており、白い部分はハリのある生地が使われ、胸元の青い三日月飾りや金色の留め具とのコントラストが際立っています。首元の白い透かし彫りチョーカーは最初着用が難しかったのですが、下を向いた時に型崩れしないよう内側にシリコンの芯材を仕込んで補強しました。頭の翼の髪飾りはやや重量があるため、車内や移動中の撮影でも傾かないよう、しっかりと固定できるポイントを探して装着しています。胸元のリボンも調整し直し、防寒インナーが見えないようにしつつ通気性も確保しました。
今回の原神フェスはとても特別な体験でした。屋外は極寒でしたが、入場待機列や会場内の熱気はすさまじかったです。この寒暖差の中でコンディションを保つのは大変で、特に外撮りの時は一苦労でした。屋内に入ってからは、少女コスプレならではの神秘的でどこか孤高な雰囲気を出すため、カメラの前では派手な動きを控え、静謐な立ち居振る舞いを意識しました。車内の自然光がちょうど顔に当たり、肌の透明感を引き出してくれましたが、冷風で乾燥しやすかったため合間に2回ほど保湿を挟みました。胸元の青地に金色の三日月飾りは絵の具で少しずつ着色したもので、原作のタッチにかなり近づけられたと思います。会場内を歩いていると、旅人さんたちがキャラに気づいて名前を呼んでくれて、その温かさで凍えるような寒さも吹き飛びました。
今回の原神クリエイター支援プログラムの作品も無事に公開となりました。冬場に露出度の高い衣装を着る際は、肌色の防寒インナーを着込んでおくのが乗り切るための鉄則です。逆光に透ける髪のツヤがとても綺麗で、横から見た時の赤メッシュの立体感も際立ちました。車内撮影を選んだのは、逆光環境によって衣装のテカリを抑え、白の質感を柔らかく見せられるからです。原神フェスの会場内ではスカートの裾が広めなため、踏まないよう控えめな歩き方を心がけました。細部までこだわるため、ネイルも衣装に合わせたシアーカラーで仕上げています。冬のロケ撮影は過酷ですが、ガラス越しに差し込む光がウィッグの赤い毛先と紫の瞳を照らし出した瞬間、すべてが報われたと感じました。今後のアニメイベントのコスプレは、もう少し暖かい気候に恵まれることを願っています。
