The background features a warm yellow wooden fence wrapped with white hemp rope, accented with a few warm light bulbs overhead, bringing out a full atmosphere. For this look, I chose short light purple-blue hair and wore green contact lenses, paired with a small golden halo, white floral accessories, a prominent golden star metal buckle at the collar, and small wing decorations on both shoulders, making the overall appearance look light and ethereal. To fit the Halloween theme, a black plush spider prop was deliberately placed in the right foreground. Combined with the blurred spider webs and specks of light in the background, it shifts the originally dreamy style slightly toward a touch of mystery and festive color. The lighting this time was very soft without harsh contrast, preserving both the skin texture and makeup details beautifully. I especially want to mention the golden halo on my head. Although it looks light, fixing its angle properly took quite a bit of effort. The wig color brightens my skin tone significantly, and when paired with the eyeshadow and lip color, it gives my complexion a healthy glow. I particularly love the subtle glitter on my lower eyelids; it reflects a delicate shimmer under the light, giving my expression a deeper sense of story. This shoot was a very enjoyable creation. We didn't intentionally pose or pursue overly flashy movements; instead, it was mostly candid moments and interactions with the photographer in a relaxed state. My brother really knows the right angles for candid shots and understands which camera angle highlights the character's unique temperament. This is just a teaser preview; more photos from different scenes are still being organized, and I'll gradually share them with everyone later. Actually, every time I do a Roleplay, I do plenty of homework. Even though it might look like a simple style on the surface, everything from trimming the wig to tweaking the outfit and color-matching the makeup requires repeated trial and error to find the ideal balance. Combining the character with Halloween elements was a really fun experiment. I hope that while retaining the character's original traits, it also incorporates a little festive ingenuity. Before preparing for this shoot, I actually had many ideas about how to recreate the character within a Halloween vibe. In the end, I decided on this scene with warm lighting and wooden structures because it fits the cozy festival feel of Halloween without breaking the dreamy atmosphere of the character design. The lighting technician adjusted the angles very meticulously, completely avoiding color distortion on the wig and costume, allowing the overall image to present a low-saturation film texture. In terms of makeup, the green contact lenses were the soul of this look—they instantly connect you to the character. To match the light color of the wig, I specifically used a natural pink-orange lip tint and eyeshadow so that even under warm yellow lighting, the makeup wouldn't look yellowish or washed out. The fine glitter under the eyes, though small in area, creates precise catchlights under the light, which is one of the key reasons the entire photo feels so lively and expressive. As for the outfit, I particularly love the golden star-shaped pendant at the collar and the dark blue bow tie. They create a striking color contrast with the yellow jacket, and while softened somewhat by the warm light, they still maintain plenty of depth and layering. The pale purple small wings on both shoulders not only add playfulness but also enrich the overall silhouette of the character, making it more dynamic. Considering Halloween, I paired the jacket with a pinkish inner layer so that when the jacket is open, the inner and outer colors complement each other harmoniously. Releasing a teaser photo usually implies that richer content is on the way. Besides close-up medium shots like this, we also captured full-body compositions and action shots with a dynamic candid feel. I actually really loved the little tips the photographer gave me during candid shooting—such as where to look relative to the lens to appear more innocent, or how to position my shoulders so the wig falls naturally. Learning these professional details made me feel much more at ease and expressive in front of the camera. So behind every seemingly simple photo, there is a lot of hidden preparation work. Whether it's the glowing bulb props, the fence wrapped in hemp rope, or the Halloween spiders and feather props dotted around, everything is the result of team effort and adjustments. This was both a practice in character representation and an exploration of Cosplay photography composition, which I feel is the true fun of cosplay.
