Challenging the look of Aglaea, there were indeed many details regarding the texture that needed to be polished repeatedly. As a highly recognizable character in Honkai: Star Rail, her costume elements blend classical magnificence with a sense of divine detachment, so in the grand narrative of the set design and the selection of costume texture, I leaned more towards restoring that sacred and heavy golden texture. On the shooting site, in order to capture the moment that best fit the character's temperament, I adjusted the composition many times, striving to highlight the character's presence in the complex background.
To achieve the ideal Visual feast, I invested a lot of energy in post-production compositing. The rendering of light and shadow is the soul of this set of photos, especially how to handle the flowing golden light effects and the grandeur of the architecture itself, allowing the character to truly and naturally integrate into that epic space. During the shooting process, I was constantly thinking about how to express Aglaea's sharp yet elegant temperament, strengthening this contradictory beauty through the contrast of light and shadow.
Through this creation, I felt more deeply the depth of the character design. Every fold's direction and every stream of light are about restoring the character's spiritual core. From the initial scene conception, costume detail polishing to the final post-production compositing, the whole creative chain is complex and trivial, but when seeing the moment the character and environment harmonize in the final product, the sense of achievement from zero to one reaches its peak.
