[Takahashi cosplay] Black and Red Japanese-Style Demon Look from Azur Lane

For this Japanese-style demon look combining black-and-red contrast with demon elements, a lot of effort went into refining details from makeup to final shooting.

The hair color features a bright pinkish-purple, paired with two black curved horns on top and a white veil, creating a visual effect that is both contrasting, cute, and far from dull. The white flower detail on the left side of the headpiece adds a soft touch to the dark aesthetic.

Regarding the costume, the wide sleeves of the outer garment utilize a spliced design of black and red velvet and glossy fabrics. The unique silver-white patterns on the sleeves present excellent texture under studio lighting. Golden bead tassels at the cuffs, red cord ties at the collar, and several white plush balls between the chest and lapel enrich the outfit's layers. Before the shoot, I communicated with the photographer to focus on highlighting fabric textures and body posture.

Two sets of poses presented distinct visual impressions. In the first set, sitting on a tall black stool, I specifically chose black thin-heeled high heels. High heels extend the leg lines gracefully, and combined with crossed legs and draping wide sleeves, the visual center lifts upward, demonstrating the character's sleek and elegant poise. Hard light shining on the high heels and black-and-red skirt creates rich gloss and texture with strong visual impact.

The other set, seated on the ground, delivers a completely different lazy and mysterious vibe. I took off my shoes and sat on the white floor with knees bent, leaning slightly forward, allowing the wide skirt and veil to spread naturally behind me, forming a soft visual base. This angle allowed the lens to focus more on upper-body expressions and headwear details, adding atmospheric depth when paired with resting a cheek on one hand.

To match the setting of this outfit, the makeup base was kept very clean, with deepened eye contours that paired with the cool-toned pink wig to convey a cool, composed expression. The black curved horn props were lightweight, allowing complete freedom when turning or tilting my head without feeling burdensome. Studio lighting utilized appropriate soft light to preserve fabric textures and makeup details, ensuring natural skin tone transitions during post-processing. This studio photoshoot effectively highlighted the black-and-red color contrast and the character's aura while achieving great Character accuracy.
