For this cosplay of Aemeath from Wuthering Waves, the overall outfit is primarily based in white, accented with black strapping and golden linear trim. The fabric has a gentle sheen that fits closely to the silhouette, while the blue teardrop inner layer and black crisscross pattern on the chest create crisp visual dimension. To enrich the styling, a black leather belt was cinched at the waist, adorned on the side with a blue-violet gradient bow. The most striking element is the translucent gradient cape at the back—its soft transition across pink, blue, and violet looks delightfully airy under the lighting.

For the wig, I went with long straight pink hair styled into a high half-updo, finished with a white circular headpiece and star-shaped bobby pins. The bangs were thinned out slightly to flatter my face shape. Styling this hair took considerable time; the top required hairspray and invisible hairpins to stay anchored so it wouldn't come undone during movement. For makeup, I selected an orange-toned palette as the base, accenting the outer corners of the eyes with yellow ornamental markings, and reinforced the eyeliner and lashes to make the eyes pop on camera. The lips were painted with a dewy coral-red lipstick, lending an energetic radiance to every smile.

The prop is a microphone staff prop. The shaft is white, crowned by a pale blue cylinder at the tip wrapped in golden detailing, flanked by white sculpted wings. The staff carries noticeable weight, so I varied my grip—sometimes holding it upright with one hand at my side, sometimes resting it lightly across my shoulder so my arm wouldn't tire from hovering in the air. The matching white long gloves feature cutout designs bordered by blue and gold rings, adding visual interest to wrist movements while posing. Around the neck sits a black choker and bow tie linked to a compact microphone, which immediately highlights the character's idol-like persona.

During the shoot, we used a scenic backdrop depicting snowy peaks and flower fields; though indoors, the studio lights made the colors look exceptionally vibrant. To match the lively setting, I expanded my posing range. While standing, I tried waving, making cute hand gestures, or placing one hand on my hip to accentuate the skirt's silhouette. For sitting poses, I paired the look with over-the-knee socks and a leg garter; the lines of the legs echoed the flare of the skirt as my hands rested naturally on my knees or reached forward, allowing the photographer to capture candid winks and smiles. Because the skirt is on the shorter side, sitting down required careful smoothing to prevent wardrobe malfunctions while keeping my torso upright to maintain a clean waistline.

The entire shoot was quite physically demanding—the tight strapping on the costume, combined with the weight of the wig and headpieces, put real strain on my neck. However, seeing the vivid colors and expressive poses fully captured in the final photos made every bit of effort worth it. Lighting from diverse angles brought out the contrast of black and gold against the white garments, faithfully recreating the Aemeath of my dreams.
