The white dress accented with a light green bow and cuffs brings a fresh, natural feel. Today, I mainly want to highlight these lace-up strappy sandals. For a look infused with elf elements emphasizing lightness, crisscross strappy shoes visually elongate the leg lines beautifully, creating an illusion of a vacationing elf when paired with the little white dress. Although tying the straps takes a bit of time, carefully arranging them was well worth it to capture that relaxed yet dependable aura.
The prosthetic elf ears on my head were the finishing touch of the styling. Paired with long, straight silver-blue hair, they preserved the original character's cool detachment while the multi-layered white floral wreath added a touch of gentleness. The length and proportions of the staff in hand were spot-on; although it's a prop, it felt surprisingly handy to hold. The shooting setup was arranged at home, and to simulate better effects, the fill light on the left helped tremendously. Regarding the physical feel of the entire look, wearing a wig and elf ears all day was indeed a bit tiring, as the ears needed to be secured firmly so they wouldn't shift when turning my head, but seeing the final photos made all the effort worthwhile.

Beneath her cool appearance lies gentleness, and with this refined styling, I hoped to recreate a portion of that wisdom settled over centuries. Everyday shoots always come with minor challenges, like accidentally bumping the staff into the light stand or a strap buckle coming undone. But we could always laugh it off, make adjustments, and keep shooting. Handling props is key; the posture of gripping the staff in standing poses not only shapes the composition but also conveys the character's emotion.
These shoes were actually a clever subtle detail of the outfit. The crisscrossing straps not only flatter the calf lines but also harmonize with the character's ethereal and mysterious aura. Although bending down to adjust the tightness of the laces while wearing a wig and pointed ears wasn't easy, pursuing full styling completeness made this tedious step feel like a small pre-shoot ritual instead.
The wig's length actually exceeded my expectations, with a smooth texture that doesn't easily tangle. The elf ears were a delicate prop fitting human ear contours closely, requiring specific adhesive or invisible ear hooks to secure. It felt slightly unusual when first putting them on, but over time, I truly felt like I had taken on an otherworldly identity in this space.
While the room setting wasn't a grand location, it was cozy and clean. The white-grey curtains and plush rug gave me the illusion of being deep inside a tranquil forest. The cute air conditioner cover above and plushies nearby added a whimsical fairytale feel to the frame, fitting today's elf styling nicely.
After shooting, I habitually review the character settings in my mind, grading the photos with natural tones to preserve the original brightness and soft focus for this Anime style selfie. While holding a phone to cover part of the face obscures some facial features, I believe it better accentuates the outfit's overall atmosphere and uniqueness. Whether finding angles in front of a mirror or looking straight at the camera, with this white dress, even without deliberate expressions, a subtle serenity radiates naturally.
