When I got this wig with blue twin braids, the core tone for this shoot was decided. Unlike previous times when I rushed around complex scenes, I chose a minimalist space purely composed of white to present this character. White walls, a soft white long-pile rug, plus a white cylindrical pedestal that can comfortably support weight—the entire environment acts like a natural reflector, filling the image with a clean, transparent airiness without complex lighting setups.

For costume selection, I moved away from the mage's form-fitting attire in the original design, choosing instead a white off-the-shoulder mini dress with ruffles and pleats as a white dress outfit. This choice harmonizes with the character's hair color without letting intricate elements overpower the look. Two long blue strands fall along my shoulders; I slightly messed up the top hair to keep a bit of messy fluffiness. This proves very useful for capturing a casual feel, making the character image more vivid rather than a rigid display piece.

During the shoot, I used the front-facing camera on my phone throughout, completing the composition entirely from my own perspective in an anime style selfie. Many think mobile selfies are restrictive, but utilizing close-up distortion and built-in mobile color processing actually conveys a unique intimacy and presence. I intentionally blocked my face with the phone, shifting visual focus onto the color clash between long blue hair and the white dress—aligning with the character's somewhat introverted, calm personality when facing surroundings.

Across the two photos, I tried different body expressions. In the first picture, sitting cross-legged on the soft white rug with bent legs and white socks gives a homier, cute vibe, like casually chatting with an acquaintance. In the second picture, I took off my socks and sat on the white cylinder prop with one leg stretched out and the other slightly bent. This barefoot look paired with a white dress outfit visually elongates leg lines, making the overall posture more composed and quiet. If choosing one as a cover, I recommend the second picture—it better integrates body curves with a relaxed posture, placing the figure at center with a more stable composition.

To keep the image uncluttered, I paid special attention to color unity. The entire frame consists of large areas of white, with the wig as the sole vivid blue color block. This pure visual style focuses attention on skirt pleat details and body posture. When pairing this styling, I also carefully considered light capture. Although complex lighting gear wasn't needed, aiming the phone camera at oneself while holding the position steady, while tuning relaxed body language and expression management, definitely required balance and core stability.

I'm very satisfied with the final image texture. This refreshing style matches the character's color scheme and fits daily social media sharing. Additionally, when styling the wig, pay attention to the tightness of the blue twin braids—too loose looks lifeless, while too tight creates a stiff sense of distance. Shooting before a white background makes white dress material selection crucial; slightly translucent fabrics reveal great depth under light, avoiding a flat look.
