Wearing this loose mint green hoodie paired with a light-colored wig for this "Kiwi-chan" Original Magical Girl shoot under the cherry blossom trees was a very heartwarming outdoor attempt.

In terms of setting, the character Kiwi-chan possesses a quiet yet agile trait, so I specially chose a soft mint green main color palette to echo this gentleness. For the hairstyle, retaining the ahoge on top of my head and the white bow ribbons on the side increases the recognition of the overall look without making the head visuals feel too heavy. The wig has high color fidelity under natural light, and combined with the light red eye makeup under the eyes, it perfectly blends a touch of playfulness into the cool elegance.

The choice of scene during the shoot was also crucial. This set of photos was mostly completed in front of vast fresh greenery and blooming pink flower trees. The pink tenderness of the petals and the mint green of the clothing formed a highly comfortable spring color contrast. For poses, instead of forcing stiff standing shots, I utilized natural and relaxed movements like resting my chin on my hand and subtly pointing at the sky. Especially the second picture where I lift my hand to point upward beautifully connects the eye level slightly over the shoulder with the flower branches above my head, adding a bit of interactive narrative with the natural environment to the frame.

The advantage of an original design is that you can reorganize character elements based on your own understanding and aesthetics. Integrating attributes that might originally lean toward a magical girl into a casual, lightweight hooded hoodie daily outfit makes the character look more like a girl next door going out for a spring outing during the holidays. The loose silhouette of the hoodie is convenient for outdoor activities and makes the person look more relaxed in front of the lens. Although the cherry blossom season is brief, this sense of spring captured through the lens can be preserved for a long time.

Before the spring photoshoot, I also carefully managed the hair flow of the wig and adjusted the white hairbands to ensure the look remained neat even when the wind blew. The initial intention of this shoot was actually quite private, more like a dialogue between myself and the character. While preparing these details, I would often imagine how she would approach those blooming branches if she truly existed in this scenery. Therefore, in the action design, I tried to slow down the pace as much as possible, letting the photographer capture the arc of the hair ribbons when the breeze blew.

Because the color coordination of the wig and clothing is very refreshing, the focus of the makeup was on creating a "translucent feel," using a lightweight, radiant foundation and low-saturation eyeshadow blending to make the eyes look clearer and gentler. Paired with the crewneck design of this hoodie, the neckline looks naturally stretched, and with a few strands of stray hair intentionally left to frame the face, the relaxed state in the photos was finally presented. The joy of an original design lies not only in external restoration but also in being able to endow the character with a brand-new breath of life through one's own understanding. Wearing a comfortable hoodie and walking outdoors on a bright afternoon connects with this full garden of spring colors through the lens. No overly complex sets are needed; simple natural light is enough to illuminate all the details. Seriously treating the direction of every strand of hair and every subtle expression management is a form of respect for this character. Although there might not have been too much deliberate arrangement when making the plan, when the colors of spring and the colors of the character echoed each other, the entire process became very smooth. Rather than saying a shoot was completed, it felt more like going out to the suburbs for a walk with the character.
