To match the spring outing theme, I specifically added ink-wash style calligraphy layout on the left side reading "waiting for flowers to bloom and joining a radiant spring warmth." This wasn't meant to steal the spotlight, but to bestow the photo with a narrative, scrapbook-like record feeling. Looking back at this shoot, the biggest challenge wasn't makeup or location, but maintaining a clean composition and consistent mood in an outdoor setting filled with visitors and rapidly shifting light. Waiting for a moment without people often meant standing under the trellis for a long time. Being able to select a photo with such a fitting atmosphere makes me personally very satisfied. As someone who frequently works on cosplay photography, I know that while we often chase intense visual impact and exaggerated effects, occasionally returning to quiet, natural, and everyday concepts better reaches the core of the character. This combination of a sea of wisteria and Columbina serves as a successful aesthetic experiment. For friends who want to shoot a similar theme, my advice is not to be greedy—using wisteria as a full background looks chaotic. You must make good use of the compression and foreground blur provided by a telephoto lens to keep the focus on the person.
