After putting on this pink and white modified shrine maiden outfit, a natural scene of falling blossoms immediately flashed through my mind. To fit the requirements of this cherry blossom outdoor scene photoshoot, the entire outfit was made of relatively light and breathable fabric. This way, when waving the wide sleeves and layered skirt, it presents a more natural, airy, and relaxed feeling without creating stiff wrinkles from large movements. The huge pink bow on my head is actually a semi-structured hard hair accessory. Supporting this material really tests the wig fixation technique; I spent a lot of time adjusting the angle before the shoot to ensure that whether I slightly lowered my head or tilted it up while spinning, it could maintain its original fluffiness without tilting.

The combination of the wooden bell rattle and colorful ribbons in my hand is also a great bonus prop. When holding it and swinging it with my arm movements, it can directly use light and shadow to trail a rich, colorful wake. Within the overall pink and white visual tone, these few vibrant colors instantly pull the audience's focus to the main subject. The weather on the day of the shoot was amazing; sunlight filtered down through the white and pink blossom branches, presenting a high-key visual texture that came with its own soft-focus lens effect. Because the costume design has many layers, to prevent appearing bloated on camera, I had to keep my spine straight at all times and adjust the center of gravity of my midsection so that the skirt could spread out naturally under the control of the waist sash, rather than clumping into a pile.

The close-up shot where I bite down on the red paper talisman actually took a lot of effort to capture. I had to ensure my expression looked relaxed and natural while preventing the red paper from getting wet with saliva or blown away by the wind, which required the technique of clipping its edge between my teeth. However, this slightly playful gesture and the fresh, cute outfit created a wonderful contrast, and we ultimately chose a photo where my expression was the most natural and my eyes were full of spirit. The movements most suitable for this outfit are actually the energetic, cute vibes conveyed in a static state, but personally, I prefer dynamic moments. With the photographer's high-speed continuous shooting, I tried jumping and swinging the ribbons many times, finally selecting the one where the skirt was fully expanded mid-air and the trajectory of the prop ribbon was most perfect.

This kind of outdoor natural light scene relies heavily on the shaping of light and shadow. Fortunately, the photographer's lighting and post-color grading retained enough depth, allowing the edges of the interwoven pink and white dress to be illuminated while the middle section of the outfit still maintained its three-dimensional light and shadow, without completely disappearing into the high-key environment. When I changed into this outfit, I felt completely immersed in this fairytale-like atmosphere. Coupled with the brilliant spring sunshine that day, the whole process felt less like a tense photoshoot and more like a nature-enjoying spring outing. Being able to faithfully recreate this fan-made shrine maiden outfit in early spring and obtain high-quality final photos, I am indeed very satisfied with the results of this shoot.
