The rain set such a mood. Although it was physically exhausting, the resulting images fit the plot's atmosphere perfectly. I chose Kanao for this Cosplay; I really love her growth arc from being a 'tool' without will to gradually learning to 'follow her heart.' In composition, I tried using dynamic kicking motions to break the sense of stillness and oppression, combined with the rainy forest background, hoping to restore that sense of power bursting out of a repressed environment. Regarding costume details, I paid special attention to the drape of the kimono and the texture of the belt, ensuring cool and sharp lines on camera. To capture these natural movements, I communicated angles repeatedly with the photographer, even adjusting my center of gravity in the rain to find the best balance. Although the process tested my stamina and patience, seeing the coolness and determination belonging to Kanao in the final product made it all worth it. This creative process of figuring out the character's inner movements and expressions, combined with environmental lighting, is what I enjoy most. The refraction of the raindrops makes the overall texture more delicate and adds a unique touch of melancholy to this work.
