[Robin cosplay] The azure wings blooming in Honkai: Star Rail

This Robin cosplay really involved a lot of my hard work. Especially to restore the character's agile and noble temperament, I put a lot of polishing into the texture of the costume. The blue layered design paired with the feather texture of the wings creates very rich layer changes under different intensities of light. This time, I specially chose a bar scene with a sense of urban modernity, mainly because I wanted to try presenting the character's traits from a more contrasting perspective, breaking the conventional fantasy colors and adding a unique sense of space to the work. For makeup and styling, I pursued an agile texture with a touch of divinity; the bright embellishments around the eyes and the treatment of the hair color are core elements, requiring precise capture of the changes in light and shadow. Although during the shooting process, in order to ensure the dynamic beauty of the costume, I had to constantly adjust the fixed angle of the wings, which even caused quite a bit of physical exhaustion during the long shoot, seeing the final photos display a picturesque texture in front of the lens turned all the hard work into a sense of accomplishment. Every fine-tuning of details was to give the character more breathing room in front of the camera.
