Today marks Suzuran's birthday, and I spent a long time preparing to capture a truly satisfying official set for Ode to Spring. From selecting garments to crafting props, every single step aimed to recreate the gentleness and vibrant vitality innate to the little fox. The outdoor location was chosen at a botanical garden and flower meadow on the city's outskirts. The sunlight was impeccable, casting dappled chiaroscuro through tree canopies onto the off-white fuzzy coat and light blue skirt hem—delivering precisely the healing, tranquil warmth I envisioned for this Arknights cosplay.

The wardrobe details of Ode to Spring are remarkably rich. The cream-white knit cardigan carries a wonderfully soft texture, though it easily collected stray fluff outdoors, requiring continuous tidying during takes. The crimson bow at the collar and pale blue headband formed a delightful color contrast. Most demanding of all were the fluffy oversized tails: to ensure they moved with organic dynamism while walking and skipping, I ran repeated tests on inner-frame mounting and counterweights so I could run freely without the tails drooping or stiffening. The lace-trimmed white ankle socks paired with brown Mary Jane shoes preserved maidenly lightness while serving comfortably on grass and gravel paths.

On the day of the shoot, I strolled along wooded paths carrying a woven wicker basket; the black plushie nestled inside was a special Easter egg crafted for this series. To channel Suzuran's lively yet subtly cautious demeanor, I struck a pose in the vine-draped pergola lifting one foot while holding the staff. The staff was hand-wrapped with faux vines, its crowning pink roses and ribbons appearing breathtakingly luminous in backlighting. In the sunflower field, I sat along the path holding both knees as sunlight kissed the blush on my cheeks, genuinely feeling at one with nature in that instant.

As a cosplayer accustomed to outdoor locations, I routinely map out prop arrangements and costume adjustments before shooting. Once slipping into this outfit, wearing the fluffy ears and tails while wandering through the woods, I no longer had to overthink complex camera settings, simply immersing myself fully into the character's heart. Leaning against the black railing to look back at the lens as the fluffy tails fanned out felt like a direct embrace of springtime. I wanted to express not merely Suzuran's adorable exterior, but the blooming, sunlit world reflected in her eyes.

Curating these photos today felt like assembling a tailored birthday gift just for her. Witnessed by sunflowers and lush trees, the little fox embraced the springtime breeze to the fullest. May this tenderness radiate through the photos, and wishing Suzuran everlasting light and warmth in the days ahead, forever cradled gently by this world.
