Today, the photos for this Suzuran Cosplay are finally retouched and ready, just in time to post on Little Lisa's birthday. To faithfully recreate this look, a lot of meticulous prep went into pre-production. The wig has a light blonde base, with emphasis on the white highlights and braids on both sides. It required daily brushing and restyling; wearing the ribbons and enormous beast ears for extended periods definitely strained my neck, but I stuck it out for the sake of accuracy.

In terms of costume, there are so many layers. The sleeveless top is white, worn over a purple high-neck base layer. The chest features black criss-cross straps; to keep them from looking out of place, their orientation and tightness were adjusted multiple times during fitting. The ID badge hanging at the waist is a very signature detail, with custom-printed details on the card itself. The skirt on the lower half has two pleated layers in white and purple plus an inner lining—three layers in total—which spread out naturally when sitting to deliver fantastic volume. However, because the skirt flare is so expansive, I had to be extremely careful with my sitting posture during the shoot to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions.

For gloves, I chose black fingerless leather gloves to form a stark black-and-white contrast against the white ruffled cuffs. For legwear, I wore white tights (White stockings), deliberately cutting two parallel slits at the thigh to better align with the character design and break up the monotony of large expanses of white visually. The footwear consists of black platform Mary Janes with bright blue trim along the edges echoing the ribbons. The long-handled prop in hand looks very cool, but carries substantial weight; during breaks between takes, I had to place it on the ground carefully to avoid scratches, and holding it while posing made my arms truly ache.

The shooting location this time was chosen beside an outdoor modern structure, with grey concrete pillars and glass railings in the background creating an understated, cool-toned atmosphere. My favorite composition is the cover shot: natural light strikes from the side as I look away from the camera resting my chin in one hand, with the skirt draped naturally across the ground and the leg contours clearly defined. The second photo is more interactive, reaching up to touch the beast ears on my head while smiling at the camera, capturing a livelier feel. Overall, this styling struck a balance between adhering to the original design and expressing personal flair, especially with the visual effect of the White stockings paired with platform shoes providing strong visual elongation.

It was truly a heartfelt creative project: from wig maintenance to every seam and strap on the outfit, I did my best to ensure complete fidelity. Although walking around carrying a voluminous skirt and a heavy prop was exhausting, seeing the final photos made it all feel completely worth it. I hope Little Lisa stays perpetually happy at Rhodes Island, and when another opportunity arises, I'll definitely try cosplaying her other outfit variations!
