Cosplaying this 2.0 look of the Zenless Zone Zero Shark girl cosplay, to be honest, was quite different from the initial version. This time, the overall black-and-white color palette and the texture of metallic elements were adjusted much more meticulously. Upon receiving the costume, my initial reaction was how crisp and clean the tailoring was, especially the studded choker at the collar and the metal chains at the waist, which added a sharp tactical feel to the Black stockings maid cosplay outfit.

The combination of white ruffled frills on the skirt hem and black-and-white star patterns is very refreshing, but what satisfied me most was this tail. The 2.0 version optimized material reflectivity, making the tail's sheen exceptionally prominent during shooting, particularly under the blue lighting setups in Photos 5 and 6. Although I had to be constantly mindful not to step on it while shooting, it added undeniable recognizability when striking poses.

Pairing this with black stockings offered a fantastic slimming and tightening visual effect, and with the skirt length hitting right at mid-thigh, it made my leg lines appear sleek and straight. For footwear, I chose black buckle Mary Jane shoes, which created greater visual cohesion with the stockings and skirt hem while being nimble to walk in. The weapon handle features white wrapping tape with a black-and-white scabbard; to display the weapon's sharpness, I tested several angles repeatedly for the unsheathing horizontal blade pose in Photo 3.

The main photography this time was handled by photographers Bingchengzi and Qifengle. Photo 1 is a candid snapshot from the outdoor anime convention plaza, where the blurred pedestrians and buildings in the background added a documentary feel under natural light for these Convention photos. Meanwhile, the indoor light and shadow in Photos 5, 6, and 7 were quite fascinating—the photographers used a high-intensity cool-toned top light casting strong chiaroscuro contrast that, combined with the hall's steel frame ceiling, matched the character's tough, mechanical aura perfectly. However, shooting under harsh light places high demands on makeup, so I deliberately expanded the eyeshadow blending area and chose a matte lipstick to hold up against the hard light.

The bangs of the wig were trimmed in advance with sleek, clean-cut side edges, and the dark red ombre gradient at the hair tips was carefully crafted to visually balance the red neck ornament. For makeup, I opted for an assertive eye shape, matching the color of contact lenses to the makeup palette so that even without smiling before the lens, the gaze maintained sharp focus. Post-production retouching primarily aimed to restore the colors perceived by the naked eye on set without excessive filtering, preserving authentic skin textures.

The snowy ice composite in Photo 2 was an extra pleasant surprise in this log—adding ice shards and geometric crest elements over the original physical scene maximized visual graphic tension and anime flair for Anime cosplay. Whenever cosplaying characters with numerous accessories, one always worries about garments deforming or chains tangling during long poses, but fortunately the solid, durable materials held up over hours of shooting without noticeable creasing.

For a mature cosplay work, beyond wardrobe, hair, makeup, and props fidelity, integrating body language into character attributes is something I constantly contemplate. For instance, the pose in Photo 4 pointing one finger upward required dialed-in tension—not overly rigid, yet firm enough to project commanding presence. Throughout this entire photoshoot experience, whether in the complex indoor lighting or the open outdoor plaza, the final Convention photos turned out as reliably solid as expected.
