[Daji cosplay] Shenyang Northern Realm Expo Convention Photos

The convention photos from Shenyang Northern Realm Expo are finally sorted out! The overall color palette of this outfit is a bright blend of electric blue and pastel pink, embracing a sweet aesthetic that fuses Maid outfit and Lolita elements. To stay faithful to the character, I selected this vivid pink curly wig; the fluffy pink beast ears on top actually carried quite a bit of weight, requiring periodic adjustments to keep their angle intact. The lace headband headpiece was one of my favorite elements—rich in intricate detail and flanked by blue ribbons and cute animal-shaped clips that popped brilliantly under the expo hall's harsh lighting. For contact lenses, I chose high-saturation azure blue paired with pink-toned eyeshadow, giving my gaze a captivating, distinct sparkle on camera.

The costume itself boasts great dimensional layering. The off-the-shoulder blue bodice is trimmed with generous swathes of white lace along its edges, paired with a white collar and a pink ribbon bow centered with a golden bell. To accentuate the overall cuteness, the sleeves were tailored with puffed shoulders transitioning into lace-trimmed wrist cuffs along the forearms. The skirt features a multi-tiered, voluminous silhouette crafted from glossy satin, with the hemline stacked with white lace and pink ruffled frills. A small white cartoon plush charm hung from the waist, and behind me sat an enormous translucent blue inflatable bow prop, making the character silhouette appear much fuller visually.

For footwear and props, I chose white lace thigh-high socks (Stockings) paired with baby-blue platform high heels. Walking across the convention floor in chunky platform heels demanded extra caution, though the ankle straps provided solid stability. The pink magic wand prop was adorned with a cartoon portrait and cascading pearl chains, subtly shifting the hand's center of gravity when striking poses. Because the hall's overhead lighting was rather harsh and complex, I coordinated extensively with the photographer on flash angles to guarantee ample, flattering illumination on the face while using a wide aperture to melt away background passersby and clutter.

While posing, I paid special attention to how the skirt unfurled. Arranging the skirt hem into a neat spread during seated poses showcased the delicate lace and pleated textures to perfection. To complement the magic wand, I also experimented with various spellcasting and playful gestures. The expo hall was buzzing with excitement, and this blue-white-pink coordinate stood out strikingly amidst the crowd. Pairing the white Stockings with platform heels flattered the visual proportions of the legs, and the final shots met our vision wonderfully. The harmony between hair, makeup, wardrobe, and props brought the fidelity and polish of these Convention photos right up to my ideal standard.
