This is a full Halloween-themed Rem cosplay photoshoot. We spent a long time in the studio aiming to meticulously recreate an authentic Halloween atmosphere. The outfit features a custom black glossy leather corset, ruffled neckline, and black bows, paired with semi-sheer over-the-knee black stockings and thigh straps—one of my favorite parts of this look. The photographer was brother SENMEi, who demonstrated professional control over light and shadow, complete with numerous on-set Halloween props. While shooting the first kneeling pose, the glossy black floor created severe glare. To avoid messy reflections, we repeatedly adjusted body angles; my knees actually hurt quite a bit, but it was worth it for the better visual effect. The second panoramic shot incorporated smoke special effects, where the clash between cool blue ambient lighting and warm orange jack-o'-lanterns added an extra touch of mystery to the scene. The third close-up featured holding a glowing jack-o'-lantern; to avoid covering too much of my face while showing off the blue eyes, I had to repeatedly fine-tune the tilt of my head. Wearing this outfit for the Halloween event had strict requirements for silhouette lines, especially needing to keep the core engaged throughout to maintain posture. After several hours of shooting, complemented by skulls, chains, and other props on set, plus post-production color grading, we finally completed this set of photos brimming with Halloween vibes. Shooting these photos not only tested my facial expression management as a cosplayer, but also allowed me to experience the unique charm of this character in a specialized atmosphere through our interaction.
