The focus of this Victorique styling lay in faithfully capturing the vintage, subtly enigmatic essence of the 'Golden Fairy.' For the wig, I selected waist-length bright golden hair; to honor the original character concept, I carefully trimmed razor-sharp, blunt bangs while keeping the elongated temple locks gathered into twin tails. The wig fibers had a soft semi-matte texture to avoid harsh artificial glare under studio strobes, and trimming the fringe horizontally was essential to preserve that weighted, crisp silhouette.
The eye makeup was the true centerpiece of this shoot. To mirror her iconic green gaze, I selected luminous emerald-green contact lenses—calibrating the graphic diameter so it wouldn't look overly large, while keeping the outer rim soft to project an inorganic, detached coolness. For eyeshadow, pink hues were broadly diffused around the eye sockets, with particular emphasis on hand-drawn lower lashes. Using a fine liquid eyeliner pen, I drew individual doll-like lash strands stroke by stroke, rounded off with gentle blush dabbed across the nose tip and cheeks to manifest an ethereal, doll-like unreality. The base makeup maximized full coverage and alabaster fairness to craft porcelain-like skin, while contouring and highlights were kept restrained to maintain smooth, flat facial planes.
Regarding the wardrobe, I selected a soft-lavender pleated Lolita dress. The neckline features a V-shaped cut framed by cascading tiers of ruffled white lace—a detail I deeply adore that radiates authentic classic Lolita charm. The lavender textile possesses a delicate tactile weave, ensuring that even monochromatic panels never appear flat alongside white lace trims. A slender, deep-burgundy ribbon sash adorned my neck to inject a gothic touch, visually elongating the necklines. Paired with a ruffled purple headband decorated with sculpted rose blossoms, the draping satin ribbons further enriched the visual layering.
Throughout the shoot, I kept expressions tightly restrained, pursing my lips slightly with a distant, hollow stare locked straight into the lens. In Photo 2, hand poses were introduced—deliberately lifting an arm to showcase the burgundy rose embroidery along the cuffs, adding narrative richness to the composition. Lighting concentrated primarily on the face with the backdrop underexposed, allowing the golden hair and emerald eyes to pierce vividly through the gloom. The overarching chromatic clash of lavender, gilded yellow, and radiant emerald delivers intense visual presence. I truly hope you all enjoy this rendition of Victorique.
