[Vikutorika cosplay] Gosick: The Enigmatic Little Detective

For this Cosplay photoshoot, I chose the character Victorique from Gosick. The afternoon lighting in the Retro study was rich with atmosphere, where the candles and ornate candelabra on the left perfectly resonated with the character's aloof, intellectually sharp persona. In terms of styling, I emphasized doll-like rosy cheeks and golden ringlets, paired with a Gothic Lolita dress featuring black fabric and white lace—capturing the visual gravity of a petite figure seated in a heavy wooden study chair. During the shoot, we took full advantage of the staircase's spatial depth, allowing the character to blend seamlessly with the environment. The first photo showing me engrossed in reading captures the character's quiet, focused contemplation, while the second frame looking up into the lens adds an extra layer of mystery and spark. I feel the overall presence was faithfully recreated. In post-processing, we preserved the original warm light and Retro tones to evoke a timeless, vintage period aesthetic, making for an exceptionally satisfying Vikutorika cosplay experience.
