This summer style outfit is actually something I've been wanting to find an opportunity to thoroughly talk about regarding the self-styled details. The cost for the entire set can be controlled at just over 100 yuan. As long as you pay a little attention to the choice of individual items when purchasing and make a few minor adjustments yourself, you can get a very high replication level.

First, let's talk about the top. The shirt must be a white loose-fit version; never choose those tight, form-fitting white shirts. As can be seen from the annotations in Image 2, there is an opening at the neckline, so I specifically looked for a short-sleeved shirt with a neckline structure. The tie part is the most critical point; I selected a cyan tie with a slight sheen, whose length is just right to the waist and slightly flips up. For high replication, I also sewed a little bird badge on the original shirt, and then used glue to stick two yellow ribbons below the badge. Do not ignore this detail; once added, the layering of the entire clothing breaks open, giving the basic white shirt a dedicated, exclusive feel.

Regarding the choker on the neck, I found a plain ring choker made of black woven tape material myself, and then molded a water-drop-shaped blue pendant using resin epoxy. This step isn't hard, but the resin-molded pendant has an exceptionally great sense of weight and is very comfortable to wear. The accessories on the hands likewise cannot be missed; buying an affordable black watch is fine, a pointer watch costing a few dozen yuan is highly suitable. On the left wrist, I paired it with a deep cyan woven hand-rope, while the right hand wears a yellow ring bracelet. These trivial accessories combined cost very little, but they are the key to making the entire outfit look substantial instead of flimsy.

The configuration for the lower body is more summer-vibe, with black shorts combined with white safety undershorts. The most critical point lies in that pair of thigh-high socks. Never buy pure white or pure black ones; you must go find those with a grey base and white stripes. And after you get them, you need to sew two cyan ribbons yourself onto the upper edge of the thigh-high socks, so that they form an echo with the blue-green color blocks on the legs, preventing the overall clothing colors from appearing too jumpy.

Finally, for the shoes part, I chose a pair of black-and-white color-blocked thick-soled sports canvas shoes. The black-and-white contrast is not only easy to match, but also carries an inherent casual athletic style, which pairs beautifully with the atmosphere of this outfit. This kind of thick-soled shoe also has a height-boosting effect; compared to the thin shorts, the visual proportions of the upper and lower body look highly coordinated.

Image 3 shows the outdoor real shot try-on effect right after I finished this self-styled cosplay outfit back in 2024. Because it was shot in summer, the overall wearing feel is very lightweight and breathable, and walking or squatting/sitting outdoors doesn't feel restrictive at all. Because it is shorts paired with a white shirt, it is particularly suitable for shooting some summer fresh atmospheric photos. I strongly recommend friends who plan to try this self-styled cosplay outfit to compare more images online regarding the color choices of the sock rings and tie, trying their best to choose a brighter cyan.

Currently, many people are taking this self-styled combination to resell it, and the price is ridiculously expensive, but I still hope everyone can go search for affordable alternative items online yourself. I really don't recommend spending a massive amount of money to buy finished products; as long as you spend a little thought, it can completely be put together for just over 100 yuan. Wearing something you made yourself also deepens your understanding of the character. The above is my entire share regarding this outfit look, hoping to provide some practical reference ideas for fellow enthusiasts who want to attempt affordable cosplay photoshoots.
