[Gokou Ruri Cosplay] Capturing the mysterious moment of the Black Cat in the forest of Oreimo

This shoot was set in a lush forest park. Sunlight filtered through the dense foliage, creating excellent light and shadow textures, which crafted a quiet and slightly mysterious Atmosphere for this Black cat style outfit. As Gokou Ruri from Oreimo, I paid special attention to the material details of the costume in this Cosplay. The black skirt hem and the white lace edges created a sharp contrast in the interplay of light and shadow, demonstrating high levels of layering. To restore the character's unique temperament, the photographer and I tried various compositions and positions many times, striving to capture that cool and lively expression of Gokou Ruri in every frame. During the shooting process, light variation was the core element. We utilized the obstruction effect of tree shadows to make the light present a high-end transition between reality and illusion, fitting the theme of the Black Cat perfectly. Furthermore, to ensure the texture in front of the lens, I chose fabrics with good drape, ensuring the lines of the skirt remained smooth during turns and movements from different angles. This shoot is not just a restoration of the character, but an exploration of light and shadow aesthetics. I hope that through these photos, everyone can feel that dreamy moment of the Black Cat deep in the forest.
