This Exusiai the New Covenant costume includes numerous accessories, taking considerable time to organize—especially the long cape on the back and the floating halo prop above the head. Looking at the character design initially, the black, white, and red color palette seemed classic, but once worn, the black coat felt heavier than expected; walking around created a wind-swept motion that gave a fantastic battlefield feel. The White over-the-knee socks and thigh ring were visual highlights; to faithfully recreate them while showcasing flattering leg lines, the shoot demanded proper leg tension, and the thigh ring position was adjusted multiple times to achieve ideal proportions.

For the hair, a vibrant red wig was used, with the ends trimmed and styled to coordinate with the head halo structure, making the entire silhouette stand out prominently. The white portion of the top is made of structured fabric, with the black geometric chest pattern stitched on for solid texture, requiring safety pins along the waist sides to secure the edges when worn. The red-and-black gloves and shoe soles were also carefully styled; the shoes feature a thick sole that comfortably supported body weight while standing.

The line "Tell that to my firing addiction!" is full of energy. Combined with quirky character elements like barbecued pork apple pie, I intentionally experimented with V-sign hand gestures and single-leg lifted poses to better express the character's lively and slightly combative personality. To enrich the bottom composition of the frame, I placed several wooden geometric stand props by my feet to simulate environmental elements. Since the shoot took place indoors before a white wall, the clean, light-colored background accentuated the red hair, black-and-white outfit, and red accents along the legs.

To showcase leg lines during the shoot, the camera adopted a slight low-angle upward tilt. To maintain the drape of the black coat, I secured the inner lining with tape to prevent stepping on it while walking. With direct indoor lighting, the latter half of the shoot required light-flagging to reduce glare spots on the garment. During post-layout, I masked the face with a white circle to emphasize the overall outfit presentation. The fabric details—such as the red lining texture inside the coat and the metallic buckle on the thigh ring—were well captured. The entire photoshoot workflow went through concept, trial fitting, adjustments, and shooting, requiring repeated experimentation with prop compatibility and fastening methods to finally achieve this satisfying set of 2D cosplay photos.
