This time, I chose Lemuen's highly ceremonial dress design from the Arknights Ambience Synesthesia event. Preparing for this character took quite a while from the initial decision, especially since many costume details required painstaking refinement.

The color palette revolves around pure white and deep navy blue, accented with gold trim. For the white off-shoulder gown, fabric selection was crucial—it needed to drape heavily while creating natural folds when seated. The deep blue outer robe features golden starburst patterns; to recreate the opulent look from the original game artwork, lighting during the shoot had to be strong enough to showcase the rich texture and dimension of the metallic thread embroidery.

The most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the headpiece styling. The signature pink wig required careful shaping so it wouldn't look overly bulky. The white veil is gossamer-thin, crafted to project a translucent, sacred ambience. Paired with the golden blindfold, Lemuen's naturally mysterious and refined charm is amplified by this outfit. To complement the costume's tone, I adjusted the makeup to focus on a clear, translucent aesthetic rather than heavy eye colors, highlighting skin luminosity for a softer overall presence.

The venue setting on the shoot day fit seamlessly. It featured white gothic archways flanked by classical white sculptures, resulting in a clean, luminous backdrop. With gold reflective fabric placed at my feet, the color coordination throughout the frame felt perfectly balanced. While seated, I had to carefully manage my posing angles because of the massive skirt hem and delicate white veil, keeping movements subtle. I spent a long time perfecting the seated pose in the first photo—opening my arms while keeping my back straight, engaging shoulder strength to guide the flow of the sleeves; static poses like this surprisingly demand solid core stability. In the second photo, holding the wooden prop lyre required matching hand angles and gaze direction—simulating play while ensuring the prop didn't obscure the main gown. Striking this balance is often a delicate challenge in cosplay photography.

The photoshoot process had its fun quirks. We paused repeatedly to smooth out the skirt and collar to keep the garment seamless. Wearing the gold blindfold for extended periods pressed on the bridge of my nose, but overcoming these little discomforts for the final look is all part of the charm of anime cosplay—experiencing a character's state in another realm. For post-processing, we avoided heavy special effects that might disrupt the mood, instead preserving the original raw lighting's serene, holy ambience so the character design speaks for itself.
