[Iochi Mari cosplay] Blue Archive Maid Outfit Cosplay — Healing Moments in the Kitchen

I finally completed this maid outfit cosplay of Iochi Mari from Blue Archive! Although there were many details to manage, wearing it brought a tremendous sense of fulfillment. The wig is a bright golden-blonde, which, combined with the fluffy animal ears and her iconic star crown halo, gives the styling unmistakable recognition. I deliberately chose a real kitchen setting for this kitchen photoshoot, because seeing Mari busy working in a kitchen feels wonderfully true to her character.

The costume is a classic black-and-white maid dress, but the ruffles along the cuffs and apron were crafted with great delicacy, and we adjusted the placement of the ribbon bow several times. I personally adore the pairing of white stockings and Mary Jane shoes. During shooting, I experimented with a few playful poses—like lifting one leg or sitting on a chair resting my chin in my hand—aiming to capture her earnest yet delightfully endearing nature. For lighting, we used natural light combined with a touch of fill light to give the entire frame a luminous, translucent quality. Post-processing mainly involved fine-tuning color temperature to maintain a clean, refreshing aesthetic.

The entire shoot was a pure delight; although getting dressed up was quite intricate, bringing out the character's daily warmth made everything worthwhile. Rather than relying on flashy special effects, I prefer this grounded, life-infused style of cosplay expression, and I hope this Iochi Mari cosplay set conveys that gentle, healing warmth of hers to everyone.
