[Columbina Cosplay] Elegance and Mystery in Genshin Impact - Image 1

When shooting this set of Genshin Impact Columbina photos, the key was to capture the character's ethereal and mysterious temperament while visually expressing it through the studio's atmosphere. Because it's a specific character, I did a lot of homework on props and details.

Starting with the costume, the most attractive part is the blue-and-white color palette with golden trim. The white main dress body paired with the light blue gauze hem provides great layering and looks exceptionally light when worn. The sapphire pendant on the chest paired with the golden metal ring anchors the overall visual weight. On the legs, I wore White stockings paired with white straps, which effectively elongated the leg lines when sitting—a detail heavily emphasized during shooting. The fabric material required careful maintenance; to prevent wrinkles, it was specially hung flat for a long time before shooting.

The hair is black with a gradient red highlight, styled delicately with a wig to be flowing. Wearing a circular headpiece with vine and leaf elements echoed the circular luminous installation in the background. The eye makeup used deep blue-black, paired with a translucent base makeup and muted lip color, appearing both chilly and subtly gentle. The eyeliner was drawn slightly elongated to add a sense of mystery.

The studio setup on the day was dominated by voluminous white drapes, with a large circular light tube in the background as the main light source. Both sides were decorated with blue-and-white bouquets and purple wisteria flowers, creating a dreamy fairytale atmosphere. During shooting, the main light source was used as backlighting, making the entire figure appear to have an inherent halo. The white gauze on the floor also provided a soft reflective effect.

In terms of posing, I referenced Columbina's elegant stance and hand-raising gestures from Genshin Impact—the right arm extended horizontally and slightly bent, the left hand spread outward, combined with a sitting pose to let the gauze skirt hem and long sleeves drape naturally. The hand angles were adjusted several times to make the lines softer, taking care that the white straps didn't pinch unflatteringly. For facial expressions, I maintained a calm, mysterious gaze, focusing ahead of the lens with a detached sense of seeing through everything.

Some challenges were encountered during the shoot regarding overall proportions, such as head-to-body ratio and the drape position of the skirt. To restore the character's aesthetic, high heels were worn to lengthen the calf proportions, but walking in the studio required great care, tripping over the gauze drapes several times. White stockings get dirty very easily; to keep the feet clean, I wore transparent plastic bags over them until the official shoot began, ensuring a flawless result.

Not many exaggerated modifications were made in post-processing; it mainly preserved the original chilly tone and enhanced the translucency in the highlights. Since the overall tone leaned white and blue, special care was taken during color grading to retain the fabric texture and details, avoiding blowout.
