[Escoffier Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Fontaine Chef's Exclusive Dessert Time

This time, I planned and shot a Genshin Impact Escoffier cosplay. The entire concept revolves around Fontaine's master dessert chef, focusing on how to translate the character's gentle and agile traits into concrete photographic frames.

Regarding the costume details, the most conspicuous is the white chef's hat, featuring a brim decorated with gold trim and a teal decorative band. The golden wig was finely styled, with the signature ahoge on top secured perfectly. The outfit adopts an off-the-shoulder cut, paired with a red-and-black bow tie ornament and a blue collar, delivering a rich sense of layering. The skirt hem features a white base with black-and-red patchwork, dotted with golden floral patterns on the outer side. White fine-striped stockings and black high-heeled lace-up shoes beautifully optimize the leg proportions.

For the makeup, I used a translucent base and bright blue contact lenses, paired with pearlescent eyeshadow and pink-orange blush to reflect a sense of lightness. The lip makeup features a natural, slightly reddish shade, and I maintained a gentle smile during the shoot to match the character's warm and friendly demeanor.

We prepared two distinct setups for the shoot. The first set is a vintage indoor space, featuring a brown leather sofa, wooden bookshelves, and a plaid tablecloth, aiming to create a slice-of-life state of a dessert chef. Posing while sitting on the sofa holding a white mug, or leaning against the bookshelf holding a tray, paired with paper cupcakes and other props, beautifully enriched the dessert elements. We primarily utilized natural light from the windows and warm indoor lighting to strengthen the atmospheric texture.

The second setup is a floral-themed space covered with a light pink plush rug, complete with sheer curtains and blue-and-white artificial flowers. This set required soft lighting, utilizing diffused reflection to create a dreamy, ethereal texture. Here, I could sit more relaxed on the rug or a chair. The white, red, and gold of the costume formed a clear, beautiful contrast against the light-colored backdrop.

In terms of prop utilization, I also used golden craft coins as decorations. The shooting angles aimed to display the skirt hem, stockings, and shoes as much as possible, paired with friendly eye contact to make the overall composition feel complete. On the basis of restoring the original settings, we placed high value on the photographic quality of the images, reflecting the character's charm through the control of light, composition, and expressions. The entire shoot went smoothly, and switching between the two scenes brought rich variations to the final images. This is a very satisfying addition to my Fontaine cosplay collection.
