The wooden background wall and adjacent pillar formed a clean frame enclosing both of us, completely free of clutter, watermarks, or ads.
Meeting Her Highness at this convention was such a blessing. We are usually busy preparing our own costumes, so being able to wear our characters' outfits at the same event and snap pictures together is deeply memorable. Even though we had to occasionally fix our hair and hem during shooting, seeing the final photos made all the preparation completely worth it.
Speaking of which, Wishadel's design actually puts proportions to the test for cosplayers. そういえば、ウィシャデルというキャラの衣装デザインはプロポーションがかなり問われるのですが、幸いこの衣装の肩ラインと全体のシルエット補正のおかげで、とても映える仕上がりになりました。今回は全身ショットではなく鏡越しのウエスト上カットですが、キャラならではの存在感はしっかり捉えられたと思います。長文で感情を語るタイプではありませんが、大好きなキャラを形にするプロセス、特に大切な友人と一緒に行うそのプロセスを心から楽しんでいます。
暖色照明の調整と明暗コントラストのおかげで、現場の光線を後から大きく加工することなくリアルさが際立ち、イベントならではの雰囲気が残せました。日中はイベントが多く大変でしたが、休憩の合間にサクッと記録できて、後から見返す楽しみができました。夜にはさらに良いイベント正片写真が撮れることを期待しつつも、この日常的なオフショットだけで十分に大満足です。
