[Alice cosplay] Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation White Studio Photoshoot Record

This time, I completed the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Alice shoot in the white studio at Youzi Photography Studio. The outfit primarily features three colors: black, white, and brown. The upper body's white shirt is designed in an off-shoulder style, with a large black bow and decorative ribbons at the neckline, and black petal-shaped cutouts at the cuffs. Paired with a dark brown short skirt with black ruffles and a red lining, it creates a strong sense of layering. For the lower half, I prepared pure white pantyhose and a pair of black buckled leather shoes. When shooting the first set of poses, I simply took off my shoes and set them aside, stepping on a white cylindrical stool wearing only White stockings. This better showcased the leg lines and also fit the character's casual yet slightly aggressive personality.

The wig is bright red, long, and straight, with a deliberately styled cowlick sticking up on top. To enhance the mixed-blood feel of an elf and a beast, I wore pointy Elf ears and paired them with a Cat ears headband featuring black bases and white fluff. For eye makeup, I used red contact lenses and swept a large area with pink blush. In the first photo, my legs are crossed and extended forward, and my hands are raised to my chest in fists to imitate cat paws, looking straight into the camera. This pose was suggested by the photographer, Hongbai, and the candid shot turned out very natural, perfectly expressing that slightly wild, cute vibe. For the second photo, I adjusted my sitting posture, placing my legs together at an angle, adjusting the black bow tie at my collar with my hands, and looking slightly downwards, making the overall atmosphere much quieter. The even lighting of the white studio really tests the texture of the clothing, but fortunately, the crispness of the shirt and the folds of the skirt were reproduced quite well on camera.

During the shoot, to reflect Alice's unique aura, I tried lifting my chin slightly, keeping a bit of arrogance in my eyes, while using hand gestures to convey the character's aggressiveness. The combination of white pantyhose and black leather shoes creates a strong contrast against the pure white background. The photographer deliberately darkened the edges of the background when lighting to make the subject stand out more in the frame. Because the temperature in the studio was comfortable, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and White stockings didn't feel stuffy, allowing me to stretch my movements freely. When adjusting the skirt, I had to pay attention to the direction of the ruffles to avoid overly messy folds. This collaboration went very smoothly; communication was highly efficient from lighting tests to the actual shoot. The final images retain the texture of straight-out-of-camera shots, and the cool tones of the black, white, and brown clothing form a striking visual contrast with the red hair. If I have the chance in the future, I would like to try the same character styling under different lighting and shadows to continue exploring this sense of contrast.
