For this Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Alice cosplay, the wig was specially chosen as custom long straight red hair. The iconic ahoge on top of the head had a wire stuffed inside, and the angle was adjusted many times before it could stand firmly. Red contact lenses are the soul; the eye makeup deepened the contours accordingly, and a bit more reddish-brown was purposely smudged at the outer corners of the eyes to make the gaze look sharper. The base makeup was pressed down firmly; because the indoor lighting was relatively warm and prone to oiliness, setting spray was applied twice to ensure the texture of the photos.

The clothes are the classic black, white, and red color scheme. The collar of the white long-sleeved shirt is tied with a black bow, the shoulders feature an open-shoulder hollow-out design, and black straps wrap around the arms. The cuffs have black petal edges, with the inner red layer and the black crisscross straps at the waist layered on top of each other. The skirt hem is a black pleated skirt, which has a wonderful drape when walking. The lower body is paired with White stockings. To ensure that it wasn't see-through visually, a slightly thicker material was chosen, making it quite comfortable to wear, though it's prone to snagging if sat in for too long, so I had to be very careful during the shoot. The shoes chosen were a pair of chunky-heeled black leather shoes, which don't tire the feet even after long hours of standing and shooting.

The shooting location was set in a vintage interior room with an upright piano. Wooden floors, brown leather seats, and white lace curtains, with natural light filtering through the window. This natural light hitting the red hair gives it an exceptionally good texture, providing great layering without requiring extra fill light equipment. While shooting, I sat sideways on a wooden high-backed chair, holding an off-white mug in my hands. To express Alice's state of a bit of arrogance yet some relaxation, I designed some small actions. For example, holding the cup to my mouth with both hands pretending to drink, looking straight at the lens or turning slightly away. There is also sitting on the chair with legs crossed, raising both hands to adjust the wig and headband—this posture can well showcase the White stockings and the full-body proportions. Sitting on the chair, the chair was a bit hard, and keeping the waist and back straight for a long time made them quite sore, but the final photo effect was totally worth it.

The entire shooting process went relatively smoothly without using particularly complex props, relying mainly on natural light and shadow and the design sense of the clothing itself to support the frame. This set of images presents more of a quiet vintage atmosphere, without too many exaggerated actions, but matching the character's temperament in terms of gaze and posture. To edit the perfect red hair color, a lot of thought went into post-processing color grading as well, retaining the high contrast of the clothing's black, red, and white, while keeping the overall tone warm.
