Preparing and arranging this blue-haired Cat ears Maid outfit took nearly three hours. The wig on my head features Cat ears and pink bows, requiring careful balance, so I secured them firmly with bobby pins. The craftsmanship of the outfit is very intricate: the neckline features white lace and a slim black ribbon bow, with semi-sheer lace lining at the chest and wide black flared sleeves on both sides. The skirt is a blend of black and white, with the outer black layer displaying white patterns over an inner lining of pleated white ruffles.
To match the overall aesthetic, I wore opaque White stockings on my legs paired with black platform loafers adorned with metallic rivets. They provided steady footing and visually elongated the legs nicely on camera. The shooting environment was a solid white backdrop with high-key lighting, leaving virtually no harsh shadows. For makeup, I chose blue colored contacts paired with soft pink eyeshadow, placing special emphasis on defining the gaze.
The first photo is a close-up focusing on the upper body and face, posing seated on the floor leaning forward with both hands placed before my knees. The low-angle upward perspective elongates leg proportions. The second photo is a full-body shot with legs extended and crossed, perfectly complementing the low angle to create a well-balanced silhouette. We spent a long time shooting across different camera setups, consciously controlling facial expressions to align with the pure, clean ambiance of the white backdrop. The completion of the wig and costume was quite high, especially the tailoring of the White stockings and undergarments, which fit comfortably without digging in even during long periods of sitting. For this clean, translucent style, post-processing focused mainly on preserving the fine lace details of the costume without excessive skin smoothing. Overall, the presentation of this photo set successfully achieved all expectations.
