The core theme of this shoot is Doctor & Amiya, focusing on the everyday interactions between the Female Doctor and Amiya. I've always wanted to try a duo pairing with such a profound bond. In terms of costume, Amiya's blue-spliced jacket paired with a white shirt features a very bright and lively color palette. To recreate the characteristics of rabbit ears, I specially selected large, fluffy ear accessories, which instantly established the character's presence once worn. On the Female Doctor's side, she wore a black tactical trench coat paired with long silver hair and an armband, presenting a cool color palette of black, white, and blue overall. The two costumes complemented each other strongly in terms of color, creating wonderful visual depth when standing together.
The shooting location leaned toward exposed concrete architecture with a modern geometric feel. Gray steps, thick pillars, and metal-framed skylights—this somewhat rigid industrial background actually set off the gentle interactions between the characters nicely. The natural light that day was wonderful, with direct sunlight casting onto the concrete pillars and ground, creating strong light and shadow contrast. To capture a natural outpouring of emotion, we leaned against and rested on the railings, and even tried various poses drawing close to each other. The selfie portion was also completely spontaneous; without deliberately seeking angles, we casually pressed the shutter, capturing the most authentic moments.
In portraying the character, Amiya inherently carries both resilience and gentleness, sharing a long-standing partnership and mutual reliance with the Doctor. Therefore, during interactions, I did my best to convey a relaxed and trusting state. Whether resting against their shoulder or looking up slightly, these were the most natural reactions from everyday companionship. The wigs were somewhat susceptible to wind during the outdoor shoot, but the long white wig and the brown wig showed fantastic luster under the sun, which was a pleasant surprise. The fluffiness of the rabbit ears also looked vivid under backlighting, adding plenty of realism.
Regarding the equipment details, the jacket's material is quite thick, featuring multi-pocket and zipper designs; combined with the waist straps and various accessories, wearing it truly brought an immersive operator feel. The inner shirt and tie also faithfully recreated the layering of the original setting. Standing next to someone wearing a similarly styled black trench coat gave a sense of special harmony and comfort when standing side by side. The whole experience was fulfilling, and the Polaroid shots turned out unexpectedly great, with the expressions and poses preserving the most authentic warmth of that moment.
Every photo is a delightful record of interaction—not merely a cosplay portrayal, but more like spending a cozy, everyday moment in some parallel universe. Under this setting, they are both the closest family and companions fighting side by side; this mutually devoted emotional connection was the core message I wanted to express in this creation. From costume coordination and location scouting to every exchange of glances, everything was aimed at bringing the frames to life, presenting the unique unspoken understanding and companionship between the characters.
