A tremendous amount of care went into the styling and preparation for this Odette look. The ice-blue gradient wig required generous amounts of styling hairspray to smooth out and anchor securely onto the headpiece, taking considerable time to groom. The core of the costume consists of a deep blue velvet corset paneled with a white puffed skirt, while pure white feathers and lace accent the collar and sleeves, presenting a stunning texture under studio lights. The heart-shaped gem on the chest and the golden filigree patterns are absolute highlights of the attire, demanding careful attention to the corset tightness when putting it on and taking it off. To align with the frigid, aloof aesthetic of Genshin Impact Snezhnaya, I selected cool blue-violet eyeshadow for the makeup to accentuate a distant, chilly gaze. The shooting venue offered abundant lighting that day, which we primarily shaped using backlighting and reflectors to evoke a sacred, translucent aura. The backdrop featured white crystal chandeliers and archways; post-processing deliberately preserved the crisp blue-and-white tonal foundation to keep everything looking airy and transparent. In particular, styling White tights cosplay with dark blue gloves and tall boots gave the skirt hem an exquisite drape with every movement. Controlling facial expressions during shooting was crucial—balancing a haughty, cool demeanor without appearing stiff required exploring multiple angles to lock in the character's exact essence. Posing in this ensemble genuinely tested body language; lifting arms or placing hands on the hips required deliberate extension, otherwise the feather-trimmed sleeves could easily look bulky. Nevertheless, the final images aligned beautifully with our envisioned aesthetic, allowing me to fully experience the character's unique charm from Genshin Impact.
